Love the new sound and and weapon textures. The new medic class is a lot of fun and really adds to the game. The maps are fantastic, some of the best in the game IMO. The airstrike call in is a fantastic addition, love the air raid siren before it comes in.
The problems are the concussion effect is way too overdone, if you are a frontline fighter, you are always concussed, for a long period of time. The new effect actually gives me a headache and makes me nauseous. I could understand it maybe after an airstrike if you donât use the perks but it is after every little explosion. Once match I played, a tank just sat in front of the building firing rounds into it and concussing everyone inside, making it nearly impossible to defend. Also I think making anti tank grenades level 4 kind of sucks, I know it doesnât take long to hit level 4 but joining a match and having no way to deal with tanks is frustrating beyond belief.
This pretty much, plus I actually do have lik 200 days of premium left.
So I was a paying customer 8by far not a whale).
This update made me lose faith in the success of the game, because the new P2P approach makes people leave instead of bringing them back or new in!
Also four months of development for so many bugs? Wow ⊠.
This game needs way more maps ASAP, Stalingrad coming with just tree maps? No new maps for Normandy and Berlin. Damn!
At this rate it will probably take 2 more âbig content patchesâ to bring me actually back.
Sad!
Maps are beautiful except that I seem to be running into dead end toilets all the time
I like the feel of using bolt action weapons again.
However, it feels more like Berlin revisited again and think I will cancel my Stalingrad Visa
I laughed so hard when i saw that you can OVERHEAT the Maxim and cook the barrel
Itâs not like it had a watercooled barrel and a slow ROF for no reason
Tbh only complaints I have about this update is the concussions being WAY WORSE, not to mention there are some stupid spawns in Stalingrad, but the new levels, new maps, new weapons, new vehicles, all really fun. People can complain all they want about Stalingrad being P2W and not friendly for F2P players, but thatâs kind of the thing about it. Stalingrad COULDâVE been P2P, but the devs decided to let F2P players enjoy it as well, and test out a new monetization method unlike the other campaigns. The free levels are more than plenty to get you through Stalingrad, especially with the bolt action buff. (Just good luck if youâre playing Stalingrad Allies, it SUCKS right now since basically every teammate sucks )
-Takes too much time to swap for the detonator after placing the tnt
short range since you place like a mine instead of throwing like a grenade
because of that the explosion should be bigger than a det pack to make it worthwhile using it instead of a det pack
some software gore bugs in the games texture but thatâs in the Xbox one version therefore i canât complain about bugs involving the hardware limitations
very nice us having decals but itâs kinda scummy not having no one of them unlockable by gameplay, yeah i know they are desperate for monetization options but damn not even one decal free after 10k planes destroyed? (Lol)
also that it doesnât make why we canât buy decal or camos with appearance orders, (bushes on tanks when? lol )
Officerâs hat on infantry squads ! Elite !
urban maps feel better than Berlin, Berlin had too much open areas
Thats a terrible idea. you ran out of stamina quickly as the gunner class. and most of the time you will be fighting players from a distance or smg sweatlords if youâre unprepared
Mounting bipod isnât always that easy even after the update. you need to find the perfect mounting spot if youâre planning to defend a building. youâll risk exposing yourself to enemy snipers while you trying to mount your gun. the other option is to mount you weapon on the ground, but again youâre exposing yourself to the enemy
Recently got into a match with a gunner and found myself in a cqb situation. hipfiring is the best option thats true, but its very innacurate you will misses a shot alot and gets dominated by smg users everytime
im just glad this is a common perk. but theres at times the game didnât give you that specific perk but its rare tho
Sure, it stll needs a lot of work. But we are still in beta, so itâs obvious that game evolves. And recent update is a small step in the evolution of LMGs. It may seem uncomfortable for now but in the end itâs better for the game than machine guns working as overpowered SMGs, like they used to work in CBT.
Sooner or later we will get properly working bipods and the perfect LMG gunplay will be completed.
Well, thatâs the point of each weapon having itâs own nieche. They canât be good at everything.
LMGs were made for laying heavy supressing fire on longer distances from the stationary position, while SMGs are supposed to rule over everything in CQB.
Instead of trying to change that devs should create maps and obkectives in the way that will allow each weapon to shine at some point.
Stalingrad is a step in good direction in that matter. Although urban warfare is mostly associated with CQB we have enough place to manouver around and utilize long range weapons too.
Yeah, itâs rather common and you can combine it with +200% better medkits, which is a good perk too.
Itâs much better to have different perk requirements for different classes instead of everyone running only with vitality perk
Good point
ă»The atmosphere of Stalingrad. I donât know what the Russian or German audio is saying, but it has atmosphere.
ă»The monstrous strength of KV-1. This sturdy armor is invincible against tanks, but it is blunt. My favorite.
ă»Nerf on SMGs and MGs; itâs good to see fewer Germans carrying MG42s and doing CQB. The rifles are being utilized in this battle.
Bad point
ă»Lack of tickets on the attackerâs side. Even the good teams usually lose around the third sector because of the bombing formation and the battle with a lot of wear and tear while heading to the front lines.
ă»Cosmetic items that are too expensive. The shears card doesnât add up and I donât see the need to spend $10 for each infantryman.
ă»Lack of winter warfare. This may be possible with an update. Also, blue skies, while certainly pleasant to look at, are not in keeping with the image of the Battle of Stalingrad.
