Why is it so hard for devs to fix the code so soldiers DON’T start with what is in the secondary weapon slot including AT, hammers for Engineers, and secondary weapons…I even started noticing some starting with the Colt Swartz…MOST annoying!
Im pretty sure its not an issue with hammers and AT. Only with actual secondary weapons, yazikov and colt swartz. Been an issue for ages but devs are lazy so
Yeah, that is very annoying when you switch players in a crunch and your next dude isn’t prepared to fight. Why they don’t fix it? Unknown, just as squad AI bots that refuse to follow orders, why don’t they fix them as well? Probably too lazy to fix the secondary weapons showing up as primary, and I think they have no intent on every making the squad bots any better because they view them as cannon fodder first, and actual squad bots second.
I get tired of jumping out of my plane only to have my pilot land and deploy his AP mine first. That’s not only stupid, that’s f**king stupid, especially if you land and your enemy is right there. But, the blood and explosions look great.
They are too worried about how it looks and not as worried about how the game performs.
This one about the plane is a bug to be corrected, surely. Also, when flying I constantly get the message “switch to TNT exploder”, WTF?
But other cases (like soldier using Colt Schwarz or Yazikov SMG instead of some clumsy bolt action rifle) are reasonable and should stay.
Actually AT also problem. I encountered that problem few times where I switched to my AT guy and he was holding panzerfaust or reloading it, instead of holding primary weapon
For me it is…if i play an Engineer or AT, switch to another soldier and then back…AT weapon or hammer in hand.
My next annoyance it loading an empty mag which happens once a game…even if it the first mag swap out…it would be an impossibility to do.
