Berlin has a pretty bad reputation for being a Soviet bot-farming simulator for a pretty long time. Here are just few of them on my way of getting Fedorov:
All Soviet streamroll, all press-W-to-win. And still,
And still devs nerf MP43/1! To discourage even more players from trying/grinding Axis Berlin. Personally I haven’t even touched Axis Berlin for even ONE match after the major update. What are you thinking darkflow?
At the same time, you give Soviets unbelievably OP Fedorov,
It does 11.5 damage when fully upgraded. That’s 30% more damage compared with MP43/1(even though it has almost the same muzzle energy compared with STG44)
Some ppl on discord told us according to datamining it has 0.35 dispersion, while MP43/1 has 0.70 dispersion, so it’s one time more accurate than MP43/1. Combined with higher damage, means it performs better at range.
After you get that -40% vertical recoil perk it’s highly controllable.
Why devs? Is Berlin Axis too OP??? Or you just made your mind that Berlin must be and stay a bot-farming simulator for Soveits??? I play both sides:
40% difference in winrate and still nerf german guns!!!
Yep axis main fir Berlin stopped after like 30 games it’s bullshit for axis long grind for the good stuff and plus nerfs to everything the basic la5 is better then the 109 tanks are better then the starting panzer 4s just not fun playing a losing game so I went back to Normandy and gonna start there for axis not even gonna touch Berlin anymore
I created a bug report. I hope this is a mistake. Weapons with damage below 10 should not follow the rules of weapons with damage more than 10.
They are very different things. Fedorov kills with 1 hit and has damage when upgraded comparable to semiautomatic rifles.
The old stats should be returned.
At least… Stalingrad has balanced things? It’s pretty hardcore here, but in a good way. It’s impossible for me to say which faction in Stalingrad is best.
If everything fails, Tunisia Italians is a funny (not good, but fun) faction I enjoy a lot. It’s weaker, but bolties are all you need here so in that aspect it’s great… (also semonvente ftw, take that, Grant!!!)
I think this is not a bug at all. They always do everything intentionally. And even worse, they didn’t even buff the accuracy of MP43/1 after they making it literally an carbine. Still 0.7 dispersion, even worse than some of Thompson(21/28) for example
I’d say it’s too early to say anything about Stalingrad’s meta or balance. Give it a week or 2 first for things to even out and players to get more gear, as well as the last of the f2p players to leave.
In any case, both MP43 and MKB are what people played for and what should be good.
It’s funny to me that a Thompson at 6 stars only does 0.6 less damage than a 6 star MP43. The difference in bullet strength should be very noticeable (which it was)
You do realise the FG-42 II is still the best gun in Berlin? The only thing the Fedorov has going for it is ammo count, its just a worse FG-42 II limited to assaulters.
It’s not. Recoil on paper doesn’t directly mean better controllability. You must try yourself. I can confirm with recoil perk it’s feels pretty like Mp43/1 without perk. That’s why so many ppl haven’t realised how OP Fedorov is, including myself before I getting it.
The game imbalance caused by the player group is difficult to solve by modifying the weapon data, and if German players want a relaxed game environment, they will go to Normandy.
Stalingrad German tanks are unplayable against Russian tanks, I got one shot 3 times in a row by a simple T34 or the great KV1 with a Pancake IV G. Don’t want to play thoses shitty tanks anymore.
Oh player base aside, and only taking equipment and stats into account, it is a balanced campaign. There’s no such thing as fg42II crutch for one side, and ppsh41 spam for the other. Both side can have just as great things. And let’s be honest, best things here are starter bolt actions so…
Actually, no, no matter how you look at it, the axis beats the allies in basically everything.
Same/better smgs (not sure if the Mkb got the nerf), better SF rifle for engineers, and better LMGs. It’s not gamebreaking like the allies supremacy in Moscow/Berlin, but it’s noticable.
And the playerbase is very important at judging balance between nations.
And, no matter how much you like the mannlicher, It isn’t objectively the best gun in the game.
