There are two types of artillery in game that serve a support role in comparison to the offensive role it is often used for, smoke artillery and a supply crate drop. These two, however, are almost never used since they don’t bring in much, if any score, and have much less imact on games than offensive radio call-in types that can potentially wipe entire points. A big reason for this is that these share the same cooldown time for each person as normal artillery, so you get punished for choosing the support option. If these timers are seperated for each player, use of these support options would likely increase and be of more use, since they wouldn’t have to contend with offensive call-ins.
Should the timer for smoke and supply crates be seperated from offensive radio call-ins?

Bombers and artillery no thank you, rather just have them removed from the game honestly… they’re only a point farm and novelty on some maps with very few fun moments… then again i don’t use them or play on the maps where they are “fun”
Very much in favor of separating smoke arty though… albeit that would probably be worse than the bombers for gameplay.

in fact for make them work, they should remove some of the nerfs they got in past, make them go higher again, make them faster and reduce more their time of deploy, include also the cooldown and we have a working bomber :3
Even so, in large-scale charges, artillery fire is useful, but the interval between the fire and the smoke is really too large
