I think that AA vehicles should be able to deploy as a seperate catgory (1 per team?) so they arent just played and then sidelined for the rest of someones time playing the game, this way they actually have a purpose. i understand power creep may be a thing here, but if done right and limit certain types of vehicles to certain BRs ( for example if they added a Skink to deal with jets at BR V and a M13 can sit in BRs 1 to 3 maybe? just a idea) this could be a terrible idea im not a game developer but be intrested to see what people think.
I disagree. With a small, only 10, team I think there’s no point in dividing vehicles into specific class slots. Rider and Transport are mostly infantry class
Vehicles function basically like a score streak. You choose whatever vehicle and when you get the slot you do what you have to do. There’s only 2 slots so it is what it is. Sometimes you have a heavy tank, sometimes a tank destroyer, sometimes AA
AA is still useful. You do your job like every other vehicle and blast infantry, only focusing on planes when one is present
My only wish was that we had huge battle with more players and vehicles
In real life AA gun crews basically were just infantry operating a gun, different to a tank crew.
M13 was the same as standard M3 Halftrack (which in Enlisted is APC so infantry) except a gunner had a quad .50 cals at the back.
We really need more AA weapons and it is not right stopping people from using a tank just so they can try and give the team some defence against aeroplanes.
What if the enemy is operating planes and heavy tanks?
What if theres only some planes and then your SPAA is basically useless? (remember they got nerfed so cant really be used against infantry very well).
What if youre in SPAA and the enemy turns up with their heavy tank?
M13 worked well when it was Pacific campaign only and versing weak Japanese tanks (plus early BR Japanese tank was the Ta Se so both SPAA and therefore fair).
That is no longer the case so the game needs to change.
Another suggestion could be to allow players to have a vehicle lineup like War Thunder and you can select different vehicles for different maps and situations.
There are certain maps where smaller tanks are far better than big heavies, indeed in real life the Americans continued to use the Stuart light tanks in the Pacific as they were often more practical.
Likewise it would be good to be able to have LVT for Pacific or Tunisia but it is ridiculous having it in the Battle of the Bulge maps or Steel Mill for example.
I also agree with this idea.
It can even be increased to two units.
The anti-aircraft vehicle can charge forward and engage in combat, and at the same time it can also suppress the bombing of aircraft.
The level of protection for a transportation truck
A light weapon attacked his tires, paralyzing him. The explosive package could easily destroy it.
The truck drivers can also get off the vehicle and continue the battle.
Isn’t this quite perfect?
