Well GE already has probably more shit in BR 1-2 than JP has in entire TT.
Its already quite a burden to go thru all that absolute shit while the opponent faction receives competent equipment in ~1-2 ? TT unlocks.
I guess they could folder them to absolute shit folder and adequate folder but apparently nothing has been done far as I know so I highly doubt they will do so.
Another thing is I like the fact how in low BR’s the BA’s & automatics are relatively well balanced.
So downtiering more and more effective SMG’s to low BR’s to compete with powercreep just fks up that somewhat delicate balance.
not really. US didnt have t20, pershing/super pershing, soviets still had 15 round avt, not to mention that it was still big jump from BR4 to BR5 in terms of firepower.
BR 1 needs at least the first unlocked LMG for each faction, besides the MG13 the Breda mod 30 would take its place. The type 11, Madsen and Vickers all should be moved to BR 1.
id take my chances with BR1 BA’s against BR2 any given day compared to BR2 v BR3.
Not to mentione the current over performing guns can be moved back to BR3.
The AVT 40 was irl was in service with the 10 round magazine. 15 rounds was for testing. Also, japan did not have type hei auto yet, so the only meta nations at that time were germany and ussr, ussr with their body armour.
Bruh this is is just gonna create new META and makes BR3 getting constantly uptiered, it wouldn’t change things. What we really need is BR6 to decompress those BR5 weapons that performs better.
I would rather see them finishing the TT and finally rearrange things based on the BR they currently are. Not the TT disorganization we have now. We get more equipment, they stop a longer que from happening, everything is tiered based on how it preforms, and things are foldered more. Do we really need this much bloat when we have plenty of folder room? It would streamline it yes, but the counter to that one is people blowing through the TT much faster and less playtime, meaning less money. But they can at least folder the new arrivals (downtiers) to spots within the right TT BR.
I’ve voted ‘yes’, but I actually think BRV should be split into a V and a VI because there is a massive different between low BR5 and high BRV as well… though one example would be Tiger E v. Tiger II (H)
this idea had This is an old topic.
Each weight coefficient is independent of the others, and this was implemented for a considerable period of time in the Eastern cage servers.
Now, there are also new signs in the public test server. After an additional 1GB update was made.
This proposal is really critical right now. As things stand, BR2 can still sometimes beat BR3, and BR3 can take on BR4. But BR4 stands absolutely no chance against BR5. The gap between semi-auto and full-auto is like the difference between WWI and WWII—huge.
Right now, only Germany can hold its own against BR5 if it fields three machine gun squads. Every other country just runs for the hills. Locking BR5 off into its own bracket is the best move. That way, BR4 actually has a reason to exist. Otherwise, what’s the point of DF releasing high-tier BR4 squads if they’re just going to be thrown into BR5 matches? They’d be nothing but cannon fodder for BR5 players.
This whole situation is basically a domino effect. If BR 5 gets locked off, more players will stick to BR 4. Those using guns like the M1 Garand and weapons with projectiles that only penetrate around 100mm and 80mm will be completely outmatched against Tigers and Panthers. This is especially true since vehicles like the Churchill and KV-1 ZIS-5 are also in BR 4.
They will definitely need buffs or dedicated tank destroyers to fight back. For example, we could move the Hellcat down to BR 3, though this would put the Soviet side at a disadvantage.
Following this chain reaction, vehicles across BR 3 and BR 2 can receive improvements or have their battle ratings lowered. In the end, leftover units can be moved to BR 1 and the bracket locked. Another idea is to separate the rating systems for vehicles and infantry weapons: set battle ratings from BR 1 to BR 7 for tanks, while limiting infantry weapons to BR 1 through BR 5.
Personally, I wouldn’t be against the introduction of a BR VI either, but implementing it would probably take months considering that not every faction (especially Japan) has everything needed for another split right now.
Separating BR V from BR IV should be a simple change in comparison, and it could be introduced anytime - even in between major updates.
This suggestion is great. I also believe that Tier IV and Tier V matchmaking should be separated, and Tier III matchmaking should also be independent. Otherwise, new players may easily end up playing Tier III matches while they are still in the process of research and development
