Hey all, these are just a few things I wanted to share as a few things that I think could improve the game (in no particular order).
Rename the Campaigns into Theater/Fronts:
- 1 Renaming Campaigns to Theater/Fronts will avoid confusion with single player/co-op campaigns and such. (yes, I have had to explain this to people).
Consolidate Current Campaigns (Theater/Fronts) to Fronts:
- Think if you had a Western Front, Eastern Front, Pacific Front, and Mediterranean Front and then within those fronts (if applicable) have early and late war squads where you have to have alternate weapons.
- This also frees up new maps such as Battle of the Bulge or Operation Avalanche without needing a new campaign to be made.
- Example: You get a Moscow map, squads would select early war weaponry but if you got a Berlin map, they would select late war weaponry.
Scheduled Events with Monthly Calendar:
- Include Playerbase favorites like Twitch Drops, Breakthrough and Even Fight.
- Add Things such as Double XP weekends and Mod of the Week into the game directly as events (think of a mod of the week event).
- Expanding Breakthrough to have not only Event/Promo squads but also have event/promo weapons and have them monthly with quarterly themes (think 3 winter breakthroughs, 2 are for weapons and 1 month
s has squads)
Example: January Calendar:
Week 1: Even Fight
Week 2: Double XP Weekend
Week 3: Twitch Drops
Week 4: Breakthrough
Add a 5th Squad slot to default BUT restrict to use with Event/Promo/Premium squads:
- This promotes event participation as well as Premium squad purchases
- Premium still would add 1 infantry and 1 vehicle
- You could have option to pay to unlock that slot to have full 10 available squads (could grandfather this slot in for those that have purchased additional squads and already have 10 slots).
Quickplay function:
- Allow us to select different Campaigns (Theater/Fronts), sides, and game modes in a checkbox and join any selecting rather than queue only for one.
- This should help consolidate playerbase a bit more and allow for better matchfinding.
- Once we have the better playerbase, matchmaking can be created, but without more playerbase matchmaking could hurt the game more than it helps.
Modular objective speed based on human / bot controlled squad balance in game:
- Instead of balancing based on average over time … why not have it set up per game to adjust the speed automatically?
- not meant as a permanent solution, but could be a better intermediary option.
