I’ve been running increased amounts of SVT-40s in my squads and it saddens me that they aren’t as good as Bolt-Action Rifles, which is odd because the Soviets and Nazis were trying their hardest to replace their Bolt-Action Rifles with automatic weapons.
Im doing really good with the SVT-40 i almost always get the first shot off, BUT sometimes that doesn’t always kill them and when it fails to kill them i get insta killed by them if they have a Bolt-Action.
Its about time that Semi-Autos get realistic damage after all Bolt-Actions got realistic damage.

I do not think so. The by far most common weapon was the bolt action rifle in WW2. Everyone is now using semi-automatic guns. The low damage is a kind of balance, so semi-automatic weapons are not getting to strong.

If historical accuracy accuracy is your concern, then why not buff the Garand?

you cant spam a semi-automatic rife in this game because you wont hit anything, you have to aim carfuly and pray that you put your enemy down in one shot or he will kill you before your sights are lined back up.
They fire the same round as bolt actions so they need to deal the same amount of damage.

No. Because semiauto spam is worse gameplay than bolts. The bolt action buff was one of the greatest changes ever made.

You cant spam a semi-automatic weapon in this game you will hit everything except your target.

Pistols are fine, they do the same damage as SMGs, since they use the same bullets.

I personaly believe smgs should kill in 1-3 shots like in hell let loose.
but despite how realistic that is everyone would complain about balance.
Maybe we can get realistic battles were that would be a reality!

All guns should be lethal regarding reality. You don’t need 3 shots to kill an enemy. But for game purposes it’s fine.

Sorry that is wrong, some enemy can and have taken more bullets as three. The human body is complex, even a head shot can in some cases not be deadly. So no, it is not so easy to say a human could not take 3 shoot.
Those cases are abnormal and very rarely happen. they could add randomly generated health values but many would complain
