I would like to be able to see friends/squad on the map like you can see your squadron.

I second this completely, because asking him “Is this you” in discord over and over makes us both feel like idiots.
Use Q/E to wiggle left/right to identify each other more quickly
Nah it only peeks and fire function.
We definitely need a second, obvious color for squadmates, yes.
