i think defending the point is the whole point of being defender
hard to defend a point that is pretty open on some maps, easy to bombard and gets attacked from all sides - also spawn away 100-150m, maybe 1-2 barbwires in between like last cap on normandy for germans. Gosh I hate that map.
Yes. but u still need to Secure the parameter first as a defender. Otherwise, enemy would storm in force, then u have no chance to stop them. Thank you
People refuse to play objectives.
I can’t remember the number of times I’ve got into it with chat when I’m literally burning all of my ammo then knifing people but the Axis players say “I’ve never one on this map its bad” or “We can’t even get to the objective”.
You need to 4 man party and you literally can’t lose because most players are literally worse than bots.

Secure the cap and having some people or bots there is super important though. Otherwise 1 player can sneak in and take it while the whole team is “securing the perimeter”
Bodies in the cap first then push outwards and secure perimeter or build 2x rallies as close as possible to the cap is probably the better strategy than trying to create a defensive line.

Because, most want kills, and it gets boring babysitting a objective point, and not many kills, but i for one do try and will most of the time be found defending a objective points.

90% of players are only busy with securing parameters. If they lose those they do not go on the point whatsoever and the def is lost.

No. They are not busy with securing parameters. They just camp without helping teammates, no one watching outside most of the time, few explosive get them all killed at the end. Which server are u in ? I am with East European server for 3 months. I am not asking them to get 60,70 kills, I just hope ppl playing the right way. It is frustrated when u get like 100 kill every game and still lost. Hope u understand what I mean. Broken English here.
I have to admitt that I rarley play the objective. Mostly because I hate CoD like gameplay that is almost requited in such situations. It’s all about spastic running, bunnyhoping and dropshots, not my cup of tea.
I preffer to set up MG position and give support to my teammates on the point by cutting off the enemy reinforcements.
Exception I make is bayonet charges in Tunesia. Stabbing enemies is very satysfying.
Well. at least u provide suppressing fire and stop the enemy coming thr. I saw ppl camping with MG inside the building in Tunesia. Sad.
When I see recent screenshots without controller icons, I just assume that the players are on console and have cross play turned off.
Yup definitely the better strategy. Because when I’m attacking I often punch straight through the defensive lines and take their cap pretty easily.
This can often result in a snowball effect of losing the second point as well because people were too far forward and couldn’t retreat in time.
Remember a lot of players are new or don’t build rallies so the best thing you can ever do is to get a rally down in a safe location near the cap then get to the cap as fast as possible. You can even do both at the same time send your bots to cap while you build.

I assume you mean the while attacking because while defending if you have the CBT bundle you can use the motorcycle squad to rush straight near point build rally and get inside the point and build an MG on certain maps this is really really strong.

I believe this SS was before console joined, although i don’t get it, if it turned off, why would you, have console if they have it turned off?
