true, because its the best campaign for sure
Veekay type of argument. I want to play Tunisia in BR4 because love North Africa theatre from world war 2 and also I think that Tunisia maps are played way too rarely compared to Normandy and Bulge campaigns (even though the average Normandy map is of worse quality).
Tunisia is the “Heilongjiang” for Germany and US ; it offers a stable mix of urban and open environments, yet it is actually quite rare to get a match there, it shows up more often in BR 1–2 than in BR 2–3.
I’m sure you remember the reason it became less popular pre merge, it was very one sided, then it got rebalances when Brit paras introduced if I remember correctly, or was it flamers, but pre-merge had some player choice, it was just everyone cared about W/L ratio…
Then it is not Heilongjiang. That map is damn near every round for Japan or Soviets I play and I know of other people who have had the same thing happen to them
Can we have some BR changes?
The first would USSR not having a BR4 fighter aircraft. (Bf-109 G-14 is moved down to at the same time BR4 because it has nearly identical performance, but no bombs).
Fiat G.55 should be moved to BR3, which is severely overtiered by this point.
Yes please.
We need to know who are those people who actually want more ahistorical stuff in the game, such as Panther and Firefly in North Africa.
I think that wiil ready , Next Years
We’ve already crossed the line… yes, that is reason to continue.
You’re the only one here who can’t let go of pre merge… most just don’t want it because it’s high power stuff in Tunisia and the vehicles… not your idea of what the game should’ve stayed as.
There was a test for Tunisia in BR V and it was fun until people realised how easy and rewarding HVAR spam is in Tunisia. (you can fly low, spot enemies as they run to the objective, there is no cover…)
If not for P-47, we could have Tunisia in BR V right now.
Not only p47, Corsair, Beauxfighter, F80,B25,Ju188 and Bf110 G2 would just demolish the ground let alone the br 5 cancer tanks KTH or the rocket tanks are also ultra pain to play against on top of the maps having horrible greyzones and poor flanking options.
Tanks werent actually as bad as they are in Bulge or Rzhev.
Sure the map is open, but that works both ways… You can also hide an AT gun well or bring another tank to deal with it.
Nope, bombers dont actually benefit. Its rockets that are specifically cancer in Tunisia because you can fly so low that you always see infantry running around… and that there is no cover.
When you drop bombs, you cant actually see what you are attacking due to the render distance and bombing requiring very steep angles to be accurate.
Bulge is another thing that needs to be adressed but tanks where such a pain on the tunisia br 5 test in my games
Ofc bombers benefit from open maps with little cover its not hard to bomb XD Against tanks it deff requires some accuracy but even that can be easily done with the bombing sights.
@OggeKing wished to share his opinion, but he cant post because due to the recent progression bug, his battles were not logged.
It aught to be remembered that the original change was just for the newly reworked Kahif village map, not the entire campaign, because it specifically got more balanced for higher-leveled play in its rework.
Certain people are either deliberately or unknowingly presenting the topic as being for the entire campaign, especially within the context of people arguing against the originally planned change.
One wonders what the feedback would be on the subject, if more people were more informed.
My personal favourite campaign in the game… but I do feel like a white Elephant for holding this opinion. The history is cool too, of course - I am naturally a great enjoyer of WW2 history in general and everything concerning the Commonwealth - though my personal favourite probably goes to the East African campaign.
In that regard, they really are very different XD, but honestly, I prefer urban combat over those wide-open maps where half the team, on both sides is just campers spamming three squads of snipers all match long. In a game I played yesterday, there were three of us constantly on the offensive: I was hitting the rear lines to take out APCs, tanks, and rally points, while another guy was in a plane and also engaging heavily with ground infantry.
We literally held the enemy back long enough for our team to move on the objective, yet it never even crossed their minds to attack, set up rally points, or do anything at all and this was a BR5 match but there was a lot of people sniping as if it was a defense mission.
I still wonder: instead of making Tunisia BR4, wouldn’t it have been better to include a map from the Italian front? The terrain and geography would provide an atmosphere quite similar to Tunisia’s, just less desert-like.
How about we Boycott Enlisted by Not Purchasing their Premium, BP, Gold for an Entire Year and not Playing their Game for 3 Weeks and 1 Month? This Upcoming Update does not Deserved to be Called an Major Update instead it should be called Update that has Nothing Considering! Darkflow does not hear our Long Years of Critics, Instead they ignore us.
Sounds counterproductive so no.
When is the update?
Two more weeks
