Screen jerky

Well, since the new update, every game has been jerky, so I’ve turned down all my video settings and didn’t see much difference. Three games played since update, and not one of them were smooth. Update? Network? Before I had all my video settings on high or Ultra, but now, down to medium and it’s not smooth. Maybe tomorrow.

I thought it was my issue only after the update, good to know

It’s a complete Clusterfuck now, but hopefully they can fix it because it’s barely playable.

I haven’t noticed anything different - but that’s probably because my GTX 1650 can barely hit 60fps on low anyway. It’s especially bad on Pacific maps (I average around 40fps).

4GB gaming for the win.

Spoiler

I can’t wait for the day I buy a proper GPU. The RX 9060 XT seems like a good deal.

Mine has an RTX 2060. I am no computer guru, so I don’t know if that’s good, but it has been fast enough for everything I play, and plenty fast to run Enlisted on it’s highest graphic settings…Till now, but I am not sure the jerkiness after the update is due to that. My computer is about 2 1/2 years old now, I bought it in April of 2023, a few months before I moved to the Philippines.

Well, it’s definitely better than my GTX 1650. I still don’t understand why they make 4GB laptop cards, considering I can barely run new games at lowest settings with an upscaler.

Mine was a $1,600 computer I bought on sale for $999, and so far I love it. I played my first year and a half on my old 2012 Compaq computer. It was fast back when I bought it, and I upgraded it as much as I could, but I had to turn all my settings down to medium or low to play Enlisted. I did buy a new Nvidia video card for it, but got stiffed as it was a counterfeit unit and ran great for some games, it turned out to be unplayable for Enlisted so I popped it on Facebook Marketplace and sold it for about half of what I paid for it. I felt sorry for the poor sap that bought it, but I got took, and I told him it didn;t work right in my computer, but maybe it would for his.

I still have my old one, but it’s not functioning at the moment. I think my girlfriend or her son must have clicked on something they shouldn’t have. It worked for a while, but I can start it but it always goes to repair mode, then freezes. I doubt I fix, but fixing would be cheap in the Philippines, and I was using it for printing and business things leaving my gaming computer for gaming.
