Scoreboard & gamemode suggestions

Hi,

 1. Could you rename bots with BOT_name or some identification?
 2. Adding what level the players are on the scoreboard of the match (during the match also)
 3. Apologize if it is how match making is done, but on Normandy, on one match axis team easily wins and on other matches it terribly loses. Is matchmaking skill based ?
 4. Extension of point 3, but matchmaking done with equal number of players with similar skill levels. 
 5. Is it possible to do chat-all ? If not could you add this feature ? It would be really awesome to chat also with enemy team. 
 6. Just curious, Is it possible to add competitive game play, where players are penalized if they quit in the middle, assigning skill depending on play, and awarding more xp if they do comp gameplay.

this is kinda hard as it always has been
for players that are only good depending on what the other team is using or how good their own team is, match making solely base of skill has never been good in games where higher level players get absolute better stuff

Here skill can be a combination of player level plus real skill. Or at least player level…

It would be good to know, their average player level and our team average player level, etc… Almost all MMO games like CSGO, COH, battlefield etc… have them…

Basically all of these suggestions would exacerbate the abandonment of matches issue.

No. But these kinds of statistics are (sadly) coming anyway… it was even accidentally leaked in an update about a week ago.

While we will eventually need some kind of matchmaking, what you have described sounds more like a continuation of usual Normandy powercreep…

Great, so we can have toxic players shouting on each other in every match for the entire time like in WT, and thus beating any remaining attempts to use chat to coordinate with teammates. I´m pretty sure that annoying clown fiesta would indeed be awesome… no thanks, we already have this forum for raising our levels of toxicity.

Competetive gameplay? Only as optional thing, you shouldn´t be forcing players to participate by making grindfest exclusively easier there.

Maybe in that case we can have an option to turn off chat-all… But i beleive it is a good feature to implement

Actually a little more xp will make more players to participate there. Plus a little more wont affect the grind much. may be like 10 - 15% more.

Also I would like the following modes to be added too…

  1. Grand operations where a game spawns for 2 - 3 matches which occurs in sequence as per in ww2. If a team wins in 2, 3rd match wont happen else, 3rd match will decide the winner. Like in Battlefield 5
  2. Outpost mode - both team tries to build radio tower, while destroying the enemy’s and building (again Battlefield 5)

It will end up abused, ultimately resulting in more toxicity, especially when combined with your suggestion to expand chat. However, as I said, this features is already coming in the game.

Sure. Normandy is pretty much plagued by powercreep of certain weaponry and vehicles which sets large variety of weaponry aside as absolutely obsolete. The best example is Jumbo that had essentially no proper counter (unless tanker using it is an absolute idiot) before Panther was released to pretty much patch it up by adding more powercreep and essentially becoming same problem.

You are treating symptom, not the cause… Sure, you can do that, however, spam will still be there for other players who might not be aware of the option or simply let it slide.
Either way, communication will suffer quite a blow. I would suggest that chat for all should be a thing for custom lobbies only in order to avoid this possibility.

Grind problem should get more attention, but even this little bonus might prove to be necessary for non-premium players who grind higher levels in campaigns.

Also there is dire issue of not having enough player base for regular matches (and weird unwanted surprise child called LF)… let alone splitting the community even more for competitive matches.
As for not making another mode and bringing suggested features to regular matches… I personally don´t believe we should punish leaving players more than we do already… also how do you want to punish them?
And finally, as far as I’m aware Enlisted was not supposed to be a game with competitive features… at least as far as main gameplay goes.
