SBMM or skill based matchmaking or some other matchmaking should be in the game ?

Everybody advocates for SBMM hoping to get into a blue team filled with competent players.
Except it also works for the red team.

I just want a longer timer before match start, to allow matches to fill up. I’d be super happy with something that simple…
Also more xp to those ticking the “play any faction” box.

Not enough players to make any kind of matchmaking, and probably never will be. Best bet is to increase waiting time to fill the teams with players only, excluding the AI squads, OR buff the bots to have decent sized 7-9 men squads(instead of 3-5 currently), equipped with auto guns and with ability to spawn on player built rallies without queue.
I dont need a matchmaking like, lets say, give me a team worth my niveau. I often get killed or wiped out by newcomers simply because they surprise me in a new position.
I want to play and preferably with real players, cant accept it to find a game within 1 second but it is filled with bots.
sbmm is essentially ranked matches except you get no rewards for doing good.
I would like to play a 10 vs 10 match with players exacly my skill level (what ever it is) just to have a feel of how stupid the game is.
Skill matchmaker works for low level or low skill players, make their match more fun and worth to play. They have a fair chance to fight back and progress.
It’s doesn’t work on above average players and it’s a cancer deliver for everyone inside that match.
All my game history I played competitive and ranked games, Lans tournaments and I was on a esl team for almost a years on a fps game a few years ago.
You don’t want to be on a high skill level match. Trust me

We don’t even have enough players for the game without any kind of matchmaking, theres definitely not enough for SBMM
