For aircraft stability. Not all aircrafts use trimmers for ailerons, especially during WWII, and having one wing constantly trying to go down doesn’t make your pilot happy to compensate that difference by himself, perhaps some other reasons too.
Edit: I just realized OP is talking about SB-2m from Moscow, and I was thinking about SBD-3 from Tunisia, my bad.

I understand that May be drop in pairs but 2 bombs land exactly same spot its a bit unusual. cant really tell thats one or two
and for a actural bomber should cover more ground by drop 6 times dont you think?
Well, that’s how they work, they are launched in pairs and fall in the same place, I guess it’s like that for balance reasons
