SB-2M (bug?)

Hi, I have a question about how gunners work on the SB-2M bomber.

I’m playing as the Soviets and flying the SB-2M. Normally, I can switch between the pilot and the front gunner, but gunners 3 and 4 are inactive and I can’t control them.

Recently, during a battle, my second gunner was probably killed, and for the first time ever the game switched me to the rear gunner. I was able to shoot backwards, under the tail of the plane.

So now I’m a bit confused and wanted to ask: what is the bug here? :smile:
Is it a bug that I was suddenly able to shoot from that rear position, or is it a bug that the other gunners are usually inactive?

there are a few planes that do this. Cannot switch to other gunners (as far as I know)

Only with the Me 410’s you cant use the tailgunner.
On other planes, make sure to have all gun positions filled with crew, because you cant use an unmanned gun.

How can I explain the fact that when I killed one of the soldiers, a rifle flew right under my tail?
