Stock makes sense in that stock weapons have a lower maximum level they can be improved to, so the game sees them as a different weapon.
I’ve got weapons in both campaigns I want to transfer and can’t… It’s annoying as can transfer some not others

hell i don’t know why they added bayonets for other campaigns but not for Normandy when the lee enfeild m1 grand carbine Johnson riffle hell i think the bar had one

‘Star rating’ dont prevent weapon transfer. But it affects ticket cost

Then why not transfer the panzerfaust 60 from Berlin to Normandy and vice versa?
Dont know. But there is many guns that can be transferred regardless their star rating.
Mayby its balance reason? Panzerfaust costs 1 silver in berlin meanwhile only option to get bazooka is in normandy at cost of 3 silvers.
Not sure if garand in tunisia is same. If it can be transferred from normandy it will make allied semiauto rifle 3 times cheaper then axis g41
