I love collecting, and since i know a huge amount of campaign squads being removed with the update, i really want to get as much as possible. A sale before the squads being removed would be nice… elsewise paying 50$ for each level is way too high…
No sale and they will screw everyone over that have bought 490/990 slots because now slots gonna cost 2x and their refund is worthless compared to old promise of merging all slots. For example i have 2 Normandy, 2 Tunisia, 1 Pacific slots for US/Axis and instead honoring my purchase and merging them together they will give me laughable 1480 + 1480 + 490 = 3450 which is not enough to buy more than 3 slots, plus you need to buy slot for Japanese so it was 10 slots before now it will only let you buy 4 with that refund. Shit is a scam, but that’s to be expected with Gaijin. DF where are my promised slots? Yeah nowhere. If that’s the case i’m quitting the game.
Greedy monetization that can end up scaring away those of us who spend money.
I bought one slot per Normandy, Berlin, Pacific and Tunisia - I will get about 2000 gold as compensation.
From Stalingrad I will receive 3 additional slots for Germans and Soviets.
For 2000 gold I can buy 2 slots for US and 1 slot for Japan army.

Nope you won’t receive anything but the gold and you will get 2970 gold which is not enough to get more than 3 slots for a SINGLE nation remember you had 6 slots. Same for usual slots you won’t be able to receive as same squads you had in the past but merged into one because they are now much more expensive plus you have to pay for slot of a single nation instead of two at same time with a single purchase.
How are 3 slots better than 8 slots? This refund is a scam. I bet they are beta testing our patience if we could accept pissing at us and if we are fine with being treated like a dirt they will implement this to war thunder, no more cheap slots like they have now (you can get 2 slots for $6.6) you gotta pay $5-20 per single slot.
How do you know that the extra-slots are more expensive ?
I check it right now and the price have did not change - 490

A slot for a single nation in ALL campaigns, not a slot for a two nations in ONE campaign.
It’s not about the price but value on the test server you only get a single slot per purchase while right now you get two.
Doesn’t matter they should still be honored and not refunded with the merge they got lazy and greedy they want to refund us only partially and then force us to pay $$$ again for something that we are paid for.
