First time I noticed this.
The Saboteur icon appears shortly on the minimap and on screen too.
Perhaps only when they are changing clothes.

yea i notice that too. It might be when they shoot their gun also since i swear i kill without anyone seeing me, yet the game said I blow my cover.
just guessing tbh.

I checked the replay.
The sneaky saboteur wore stolen clothes and was being fired upon by my team.
TLDR → the icon appeared when the saboteur was spotted.
Spies are only revealed on the game map when they change clothes or fire a gun, so you’re lucky you discovered it yourself.
