I won’t even wait for the team to get filled by bots. It’s happening a lot, recently. Thought it’s true I often pick underdog factions facing easy mode ones. like axis Tunisia and Berlin…
So yeah, to those wondering why desertion is allowed, there’s that.

bots would automatically fill in the next 5 seconds.
but I don’t care about bot matches. So in those cases, screw this, I just desert.
Also I’m not interested in playing with ppl with huge pings differences, or myself having a huge ping, so I keep my general area for server choice.
While doing it the same way during the quite common, populated daytime, I activate all servers especially at night and early morning. Haven’t had many ping issues related to that but much better matchmaking so far.
At least my personal experience is quite good. ^^

bad computers or last Gen consoles can be a reason to blame.
But yes. Not matches are a thing too.
Don’t trust the scorebord in the pre match wait because you see only the player/bots joined before you, for see the rest you have to wait the match start

I know, it’s USUALLY fine. However the match was going to start in 15 seconds. As soon as the timer reaches 10 seconds, the game floods the remaining vacant spots with bots… I also wasn’t patient yesterday so I just went on my merry way to preserve what’s left of my sanity.
True, usually in those matches I kick back in a tank and don’t try much.
But you know sometimes there’s just nothing you can do, matches never satisfy you, you can’t seem to play well, etc… It was one of those days for me yesterday, I was just bad. So after a few tries I just poured myself a scotch and went to read, taking a break

Neither will I: I desert in the first minute of a match. I see this as an investment of time. If my invested time is important, I stay and lose, but still get xp. If I’m in those matches above, or in a map or mode I dislike…
… then they can multiply my 0 xp by 0.75 all they want 
As a laat gen console player, 2015 fat xbox one, I never join a match before it fully starts like this
