quite alot of poles were in SS / wehrmacht, so poles fighting poles aint exactly that far fetched either.

Politics and “sensitive” topics aside, would be really weird to hear Russian language in Tunisia or Ardennes
I heard about a construction battalion of Russian collaborators in Egypt. (Yes, this is not Tunisia and these are not combat units)

and we already have several SS squads with French collabs ingame who are technically eligible for fighting French squads of the Allies.

Doesnt really stop devs, since we already have SS divisions which are apparently fine they are censored.
So RONA can be added just as well if they are censored.
Though realistically there is no reason to add them other then representation which is in general very poor in this game, (almost) no african-american soldiers at all, Soviet troops are all Russian.
French, Latvian, Norvegian ect SS units all speak German.
Italy has zero colonial representation.
Only the British empire has properish representation since there are distictively Australian, New Zelander and Canadian squads beside the British ones.
Anyway I like that people are pushing for better representation though the direction is needs to be corrected.
As for RONA representation, this shouldnt be made an ideological question, they fought and died for something which they believed in which is worthy of respect regardless of how current history books try bend this to political agendas.
But I think we will agree that the need for RONA representation in Axis is on the bottom of the list after Hungarian, Finish, Romanian, Norvegian, Dutch, Austrian, Croatian, Danes, Estonian, Latvian soldiers.
Its true that it would be possible to “add RONA now” but than they would have the same voice lines as Soviet troops which could get confusing.
So ultimately they would actually need their own voices at which point they should just add another nationality instead.
TLDR: voice actors are expensive and that money would be better spent on adding other nationalities like French or Hungarians.

By all means this squad is fairly controversial and i’m glad i have sparked something in the comments i just want the ppsh on germany as soviet BRV is utter garbage.
They fought against women, children, and the elderly in Belarusian villages. These are heroes.
They were also anti-Semites, and during the retreat, they executed all the Jewish prisoners.
