I like to play with German faction on BR2 but this became unplayable.
Playing against overpowered USSR troops is a nightmare because of this unbelievable Russia bias but player almost EVERY game again BR3 when oneself being BR2 against the even more overpowered BR3 USSR troops is worse than a nightmare.
How can thee devs ever hope that there will be enough idiots daring to player BR2 to fix this issue?
So in the end from 5 battle ratings only 2 are playable: BR3 (slaughterin BR2) and BR5 because there is nothing above it.
And in case the devs do not care about this why don’t you even try to do something:
2 ideas:
Group BR1+BR2, BR3+BR4 and BR5 on its own
give players with the lower BR in a mixed game more score/silver whatever.
Soviet faction is the strongest at BR III, at least in terms of capableness on a given BR.
Its not a big surprise that players would stack the faction and BR that gives them be best chance to get the 25K points as quickly as possible.
Axis and Japan BR V is also very stacked with veterans at the moment…
However I will agree that BR III has became way too popular across all factions for two reasons: its the best BR to bully newer players and the chances of getting uptiered is by far the lowest of any BR (except BR V obviously).
There are many players that are still playing starter bolt-actions, unupgraded weapons and only have a few (often less worthy) BR II weapons getting sent to BR II-III hell. These people are essentially XP pinatas.
One easy solution would be to code match making to make BR III-IV battles more common, so BR III gets uptiers more commonly.
Well, BR3 is also popular because you get to play most of the Iconic weapons of WW2.
I do play BR3 any faction most of the time because this is also the most populated and enjoying BR to play. Almost every gear at this BR is good enough to be played. Sure SMG are still dominant (juste like every BR except 5) but the semi auto rifle, MG and even Flamethrowers can be played without much issue.
Yes the issue is that BR2 kinda struggles, but its not unplayable either.
I would recommand playing the second day of each 2-day step of an event as most of the try hard usually complete the tasks on the first day and as result you encounter less of them on the second day (at least this is what I experienced)
Well I mean, what I like to do in the case of a unfortunate uptier from BR2 would be to use a Panzer 4F (for the HEAT shells) as the main anti tank/inf killer, I would use the commando/grueillas, engineers, machine gunners (with MG13s), and snipers
