Rocket Artillery as Radio Upgrade

Features and mechanics should not be locked to premiums. Rocket Artillery should be available as an upgrade for all Radio squads

did they buff it at all? i havent use it since i got back to the game

idk rocket Artillery is event as well.

I wish they would just add it to more Radio premiums and Event premiums.

That’s the point, they keep locking it to premiums and events, limiting its potential and use

yep because you have to pay to enter events, no you have to pay to complete events, nope you have to pay to get the premium track rewards nope you just have to play the game

Not that I’m aware of, and even then it is rather lackluster in the first place. But regardless of it being good or bad, features/ mechanics should not be locked

I also have been suggesting ways to buff/ overhaul RA so it is a more compelling tool

Events dont even give them money…it drives me nuts how much dev time is wasted on designing event squads just for them to never be available again…if they just wanted money theyd sell them but they dont

Sure when they find a way to earn premium squads the game needs f2p and p2p or it’s going to die

A f2p game is measured both by game pop and earnings

How many times have you heard this game is dead or dying it only has x number of players

I rather think that the event/premium squads that have rocket artillery should have the upgrade associated with them, so that by virtue of owning one of these squads (good on you for playing the game), then the rocket artillery option will be available across that faction.

So, it’s still be a rare unlock, but you’re not restricted to using suboptimal squads (only good thing about these squad are the redundant extra radiomen, and an engineer that can build almost every building).

Of course, this still means I support the general idea of wider usage of rocket artillery, for two reasons:

  1. The few times I would consider using it (destroying a enemy tank outside of the greyzone, or a unreachable mobile rally in the open), I am unlikely to be using the Rocket Artillery squad at that moment (or the radio lines are already in use).

Good tactical usage of a your resources shouldn’t be limited to the God damn stars aligning.

  1. Opens up subfaction usage of this ability.

I mean, the Brits enjoyed a good bit of Rocket Artillery too, and fellow Company of Heroes 2 players will know and remember the Land Mattress as a very fun artillery piece.


I’m sure the Italians did something similar… So, lets not subfaction lock this interesting feature!

I’m all for it; given its current use, it makes sense to add it to the skill tree.

If we could adjust the rocket direction to add a tactical dimension, why not?

Furthermore, at rank V, it doesn’t even destroy tanks, while it kills low-level tanks, so we should make it useful.
