There are 8… among which 2 are air focused. You mean 1/4?
Second, you can be creative with integrating a bit of infantry in both battle of britain and midway. Manning AA and radar facilities or on the destroyers and carriers.
I did play War Thunder prior to Enlisted. I like the feel of Enlisted and how they successfully integrated vehicles and infantry. Even though it is not plane or tank focused like war thunder and world of tanks, I still think they could ahve vehicle focused battles, so I dont have to switch games when I feel like playing a bit more plane or tanks.
Agreed. An open tank-focused map where everyone can spawn as one would be a cool change of pace, like an Operation Cobra or Kursk. Infantry would still have a place, especially when halftracks and APCs come along so they can keep up with armor and cap points.
3/8 actually, but the point is is that in midway or britain, it’s gonna be a few dumb schmucks trying to shoot down planes with shitty AA guns while plane players get to actually play the game, and on kursk it’s going to be planes and tanks having all the fun while the infantry is just there as cannon fodder.
A good enlisted campaign has to be balanced for at least infantry and tanks, it can’t be just vehicles.
First of all devs need to focus on current campaigns such as improving or fixing (* cough * * cough * Berlin fiasco * cough *) them and gaining more playerbase to afford further expanding.
After that we might even see Japan, or Finland vs USSR (Winter War suggestions from the CAT and CBT gained a lot of popularity, so I wouldn´t be surprised to see it in).
I would actually want to see other battles, that are interesting and include other countries with other weapons, such as the winter war which is Soviets against Finns, or the invasion of Poland.
Great ideas, but the thing is that you can’t integrate these matches to the game in its current form, and it would be difficult to change the game to be compatible with this concept.
I don’t think it would be too hard. Not sure I see the restrictions you are referring to.
Most of these would just be the same conquest and invasion formats.
The Midway with destruction of the fleet would not seem that hard to implement. I was just reading about the new Battle of Tunisia Campaign, in which they are implementing new secondary objectives “We have also prepared new secondary objectives and even missions with new, unique winning criteria - such as the destruction of certain strategic objects.”
And they could just sit on their own same as the current campaigns (Battle of Moscow, Battle of berlin,…)
