Right, I've confirmed the next campaign

That too.

But they need to give Japanese some goodies of their own to make them interesting, other than “moar skulls for the skull throne”.

We really don’t want a Moscow axis 2.0…

Finished Axis and almost Soviets there. Still no situation where a BA is competitive to an AR

You never banzai charged in Rising Storm? :stuck_out_tongue: it was practically suicide. It only activated if players had their melee key primed, and the bonus % increased with the more ppl charging with you. Often times it was charging mg nests positions… which ended dreadfully

I got Stalingrad full access but I do agree here - the advantage for FA players is very significant, and the BAs only give you a chance with 1 shot, the moment you miss or reload your clip, you get sprayed.

Competitive ≠ superior

But they stand a much better chance than in Berlin or Normandy.

Yea and its still gonna suck, even tho i am excited.

You can expect the G43 or type 4 garand type BS. They dont have the balls to do something unique, how many of us were suggesting to do traps, guerilla warfare type faction.

The US will probably on the defending side

In b4 a unbalanced campaign.

I ill only bother with it if it comes with the Stalingrad type of deal with some changes.

As long as the user payed for Stalingrad, it’s worth playing in it.

Make it a choice, not forced

Soviets are on the defending side of moscow, yet they are attacking now mostly

It’s already a choise.

4 f2p campaigns.
Able to play Stalingrad at limited pace with limited campaign levels.

Balancing Guadalcanal is going to be literally impossible even with the lax historical standards the Devs have. The LVT(A) program only started after Guadalcanal as a result of feedback from the troops who used the LVT-1, putting it outside of the “If it existed then we can add it” reasoning the devs have used, and the Greyhound only starts production in mid 1943. The weakest tank the Americans can realistically get is an M3 or M3a1, neither of which can fairly match the Ha Go as the coaxial would make the American tanks instantly better in every way, and this would be a problem even if they bent their rules to the max and brought out the M2a4. Not to mention the Sherman, which shares a similar time frame to the Japanese best counter to the Stuart, the Chi Ha Kai. The Army also followed the Marines ashore, and they brought Garands, while the only Japanese semi-automatic rifles would be in 6.5 Arisaka, making on par with the Armaguerra mod. 39, and thus a match for the M1 Carbine, which was first fielded in 1943, and not the Garand. LMGs and LSMGs I worry a little less about, as Japan did produce a number of passable LMGs and imported a few pretty good SMGs in addition to the SMGs they did end up producing. Planes are also not really an issue any time in the Pacific, as Japan did produce some really good planes for their time, even late into the war. Thus, the two biggest issues are going to be tank balance and semi automatic rifles. While no campaign will ever be able to correct that within the confines of remaining 100% historically accurate, the devs precident of “if it existed we can add it” can be used to get things like the Type 4 rifle and the Chi Nu to places like Okinawa, the Phillippines or Burma. It is why I have often said that ironically it is easier to balance a late war pacific campaign than it is to balance an early war one.

my friend, I believed their promises on stalingrad I defended them, but after seeing that the only levels with exclusive access are fillers and the so-called one time purchase is just an excuse to get another 30 euros, I would prefer to see this new system and those who thought put it to the pillory under the sun in August while they throw peppers in his mouth

idk how many ppl will want to waste a LOT of time on a demo but ok I guess

Like this is not the case in the “free to play” campaigns as well cough cough.

I do think early will balance better with the Japanese, Gudacansl makes since from a marketing standpoint

You will have IJN IJA and US army and Marines likely in the mix

So that should be fun

Maybe some RNZAF planes

Also they might expand it to include the Solomon’s campaign that would stretch it into 43/44

Okinawa would see the Japanese at a far greater weapon disadvantage than early war, minus the kamikazes, but every campaign has those as free unlocks.

More like “pay us again even though You already bought premium and battlepass, so You can grind for weapons You already grinded for anyway like three times, but this time faster” shiteaters
