Rework the Tunisia campaign

Bad bases, bad class unlocks, bad time.

Here are the arguments:

I’ve played around 15 matches in Tunisia right now, and it’s almost always completely one-sided to the point it gets incredibly frustrating or boring depending on which side you are, and the reason is simple, no early engineer means attack gets to run ~160m of brightly lit desert, ripe for the picking for any sniper or tank.

Early operator is nice, if it wasn’t for the fact more than half the defense points weren’t protected by buildings.

Games are determined by who has an engineer, if attack doesn’t have an engineer might as well give up and go for points because the chances of getting extremely frustrated increases by the minute, and if the defense has engineer then you really should just give up.

I actually had a friend who was excited to play the game because of the squad system, but gave up after 2 matches and i didn’t know why, i started playing in Normandy and loved the game, yesterday i found out he started on Tunisia.

I won’t discourage who loves the campaign, since the desert theme was what also made my friend pick Tunisia, but there is no reason to play it outside of quests, it’s boring, frustrating, and rewards passive play, why would i play hundreds of matches to get to lvl 9 on both sides if i can just play on the other 3 campaigns and not suffer through it.

Too stupid to understand how to edit on this forum. I mean more than half of the points ARE protected by buildings.

i agree about the enginners thing
it could be the best campaign if not for that (also the tank balance could use some work)

also about objective being protected by buildings- that is a good things, objectives should provide a tactical advatage, which is why you are capturing them
you shouldnt really be droping arty on objectives as that also concusses you teammates- instead ask teammates to mark groups of enemies or put it somewhere behind the cap

The playerbase, especially Axis, is to thin. Can’t really solve all of that with a rework. Russians have two campaigns, US/British have two and the Germans have 4. I know the Italians are in Tunisia but they’ve essentially been sidelined

I ranted and nearly maxed out Axis, I love EL, but this campaign frustrated me, made me log off or find something else to play, in fact I agree with most things you say, the maps them selves are amazing, I see massive potential.

Line up just was meh, hmm I was in CBT Tunisia so had bike already, FW don’t get me started on that, 2 Berettas SMG haven’t even bothered getting last one, enough was enough. Grb39 is a good AT rifle but sight is bugged and covered so it takes practice.

I will come back to Tunisia when new campaign level added, hopefully Typhoon, Beaufighter, Churchill, Tiger yes! Till then will try and level up other campaigns.

I don’t think Tunisia is bad, I just think line up choices was poor, Demolition was every round and felt that frustrated feeling I never would have expected to, when playing axis.

We could pray that the devs will eventually fine tune the AI so they’re kind of good enough without human players. But they can’t be aimbots either so that’ll be tough.

No other Campaign makes me as infuriated as Tunisia (primarily Axis). It’s a different type of anger meltdown.
