Rework or remove the ranking system

With the upcoming progression changes, I think the ranking system needs to be either redesigned or removed completely. To rework on this, I would suggest making the rank separate per faction to prove how good a player is instead of stacking Tunisia Allies or Pacific Axis all the time which the merge will be still a problem in a different form with nations on certain BR ranges due to meta. Ranks like Marshal of the Soviet Union with a different icon and whatever counterpart for other nations like Field Marshal for Germany must be created with separate rewards for each nation to encourage some people play a non meta nation.

If nothing else works, just delete the system entirely as this ranking system only encourages more sweaty and toxic play e.g. 4 stacking campaigns then later factions that are meta, scummy tactics, etc.

Devs themselves said this game is not meant to be competitive so there is no reason to have a ranking system.

They could easily create another different system how to obtain them.

Current one just supports toxic behavior.

i particularly like the rewards and the idea of ranks are interesting.

but i do agree on the fondamental issue. of where most likely people will abuse early levels or stack to take advantage and always win.

and i dare to say that the rank should become some sort of battlepass 2.0.

meaning that the more you play, and more challenges you do, you earn ranks, levels and rewards.
it’s a sort of commitment rather a show for the playful ground.

i just dont get why devs are so “focused” on making enlisted competitive when it’s arcady and casual at best.

It shouldn’t be possible to do BP tasks/events/rankings on low BR. It’s pretty much standard in every other game.

It would be enough to make ranking (which is personal) unrelated from victory (which is a team affair).

There’s ALWAYS some active task to do. If so, RIP low tier relax.

Plus, tasks like “kill X with bolt action rifles” are a thing.

Heck, if they assign a BR even to backpacks and mines, it’s not like one can just go low tier and easy cheesy everyone.

I dont think they would give up even if ranks is not here.
Just let them wait extra time to matching those stacked also.

Also, do players now really care about ranks?

Doesn’t matter, there’s no reason why they should allow it on low BR.
In WT, you can do BP tasks on BR4 or higher iirc as well.

You can always optimize tasks to suit mid/high BR better.
Plus there will still be mid BR BAs, for example ones with GL.

Except this way we forbit new players from gaining stuff from BP.
And this is kind of counterproductive since this whole BR stuff is meant to help new players.

Not really, since you get to mid tier after ±4 hours anyway.
People acting like newbies want to spend eternity grinding all kind of BA.

It works like this in WT, it works in WoT. I would be very surprised if this wouldn’t be a thing in enlisted.

I have a feeling it will take at least 2-3 times more exp to unlock something in the new system.

And since BR MM will be cursed, players have to unlock everything more or less at the same time to have the whole equipment at one BR.

Though since all this is still low level it may not be that long to unlock.
We will see I guess. Currently we have 0 info.

Yep, it’ is really fine feeling to don’t know basically anything 5 days before release. I do enjoy it a lot.

It would be maybe better if they were…

Since majority of things they told us will change anyway. They showed us officially 10 BR tech tree, but few days back it was leaked they are working on 5 BR tech tree now…

So what’s even point… They should immediately just told us: “Okay, we get it. 10 levels are to much. What do you suggests? 5? 7? 6?”
Nah, they’ll never discuss solutions for our feedback. Instead, they just come up with something on their own. Making our feedback pretty much irrelevant anyway.

They should communicate with us consistently, not just once per month, lol. But I guess it’s toobmuch effort to ask for.

Instead of assigning rank to player, can we assign it to squad to unlock camos…
