I wouldn’t say the Super Pershing has better armor or a better cannon tbh.
When you’re fighting infantry 90% of the time, HE shells kinda matter. HE shells really matter because it’s hard to justify getting in a tank to kill one tank and then immediately ditch.
Its cannon can still kill a KT frontally, as well as the IS-2
It never faces IS-2s so whatever, but in my experience you usually don’t one tap King Tigers with the Super Pershing but you always one tap Super Pershings with the King Tiger. Also the King Tiger has better HE shells and a faster reload.
What do you mean? King Tigers fight IS-2s
depends on the skill of the player. Both have weakspots and strats.
opposite actually, Superpersh has better HE, better pen as well. But slower reload is true, except for normal persh which is reloads way faster than Tiger.

I was referring to the Super Pershing, since you found it so prudent to bring up that the Super Pershing can pen IS-2s for some reason
No there’s not really a strat to one tapping the KT with the SP, you get lucky sometimes but usually the APCBC doesn’t have enough explosive filler to detonate the ammo while the APCR gets eaten by the turret crew, so it usually takes 2 shots to kill a KT.
Also the SP HE has more fragmentation, but the KT HE has more explosive filler. Personally I just use the M26 for the better HE, faster reload, and cause the APCR is just as good as the SP’s gun.
I meant for hiding your weakspot, moving around to make it harder to hit ect.

You could try hiding your weak spots, honestly it’s really not that hard to hit ‘em anyways. Plus it’s more important to try to kill the enemy tank first rather than scurry away like a rat.
But yeah for me it would always take 2 shots minimum to kill a KT with the SP, which wouldn’t be so terrible if the reload was a bit faster. That’s half the reason I switched back to the M26, if I’m gonna take 2 shots I might as well have the faster reload.
Actually tiger does by a few mm on same shell. Apcr alone has higher penn but has zero filler
Nothing wrong with the Super Pershing. In Warthunder I have 100s of games in it. Was one of of my favourite go to USA grinders. Because its a Tough S.O.B that has no issues wrecking pretty much anything and everything with its large gun.
I enjoyed it more than the King tiger, and maintain a slightly higher K/D (3.55 vs 3.8)
So as far as Tank Vs tank goes…The matchup is fine. Close as you are gonna get.

Don’t think anyone said it wasn’t a fine matchup. Just that the king tiger is better. This game also functions incredibly different than warthunder.
not in tank versus tank it doesnt. and I made a point of only commenting on Tank Vs Tank. (which they are discussing above about weakspots)

It very much does. You have features that are totally non existant here. Choosing what shell types to bring along with having more options in shell types, along with how many you bring. You can choose to make the most vulnerable ammo racks empty completely changing how effective/resilient the tanks are in battle.
theres only one shell you need in Tank V Tank. The same Shell you use in Warthunder is the same shell you have here…T41 shot (APCR is generally bad, and not needed)
Which just means that it works even better in Enlisted. since you are nearly always fully stocked.

No. This means the pershing is easier to one hit compared to tiger2h here in enlisted. These features could change this a bit in warthunder
…what kind of logic is this…is the Tiger 2 not Fully loaded aswell??? First ammo storage is “in the Turret”…“thats where you hit the king tiger”…it doesnt matter if its warthunder or Enlised, If its fully loaded or carrying minium shells…thats the money shot…
you cant hull down the turret like you can the lower and upper hull plate
“Enlisted only” tankers are still essentially in Cadet school. Thats not an insult, thats just nature of the game. Most players start there in Warthunder too (arcade with training wheels)

Exactly. You’re only getting through the turret with apcr. No filler in it, crew is blocking the ammo rack. Tiger is able to pen pershing with filler rounds hitting the ammo rack. Hence tiger is stronger here in Enlisted. In warthunder you can keep the most vulnerable rack empty in pershing making it harder for tiger to one hit you.
