I have to say it is a cool idea giving out uniform pieces as rewards. Please do this in the future for really unique gear instead of giving out so many Appearance Orders all of the time…only request is you give out enough to equip a squad. It could be face coverings, unique camo clothing, shirts with Ensignias, etc.
You could also take it a step further and give items to make vehicles unique.

+1 for more unique appearance rewards but -1 for incentivizing you want less appearance orders with the change.
As a veteran, we have 1000’s of these stock piled with nothing to spend them on or the inability to sell them. This change wouldn’t get rid of Appearance Orders…just replace them for some reward levels. Getting 5 unique uniforms are better then getting 30 Appearance Orders to buy 5 of the sameTT uniforms.
As a veteran you should also have tons of legacy squads. Equip them with customization and get back to me with how much you have left… It takes around 80 for a 7 man squad and multiply that by 6 campaigns so that’s around me 450 for a squads customization if you give them some for each campaign.
To note i obviously made that validation with germany in mind… if you’re a strictly japan player it would make sense if you have this much… however speaking generally, equip the big 2 factions all with customization and i’d assume you’ll be sitting in a different boat… i’m open to be prove wrong though if you guys just genuinely have thousand yet do spend them.
You have plenty of customization to spend them on… maybe not your favorite squad… which is fair you may not like the stuff we have now or want more unique stuff and that’s understandable.
me personally? I’d much rather have 15 app orders instead of the helmet in the repeating section of this current battlepass.
You are suggesting to replace the appearance orders with clothing items no? I initially correlated this to the BP not taking into account its event alongside… i suppose events aren’t the main source of them and only give maybe what 15 each stage they do? I’m starting to understand why you prefer unique cosmetics directly.
Not sure if you are intentionally being disingenuous here as what we’ve had are unique clothing ITEMS… not uniforms
And i don’t get the latter part… TT uniforms? The TT uniforms technically are the ones equipped by default… i’d consider peadot pretty unique in terms of what you see usually.
Also, removing access to a way of getting appearance orders is the only thing i’m getting from this post as you’re not giving proper suggestions… i do get you’re generally giving praise for the unique cosmetic inclusion though however you leave it open.
No…only played 1.5 years so post merge…no Legacy squads. I currently have over 5300 orders with all my top end squads decked out for every campaign. Once you finish all factions and TT, you realize that you will want to play the top squad over a lower one, like Assaulter 4 over Assaulter 1…therefore there are squads you don’t need to outfit. I don’t play Medics, low end Snipers, Mortarmen, etc.
They give out Appearance Orders like crazy…they are not hard to get if you login every day, play the events and the BP.
I’m saying occasionally it would be nice to get a unique uniform that isn’t Premium squad…as they are different then TT ones.
If you play Japan you have the least choices of all factions…it should be easy to outfit the squads.
Appearance Orders are good, especially now they are working on a way to sell them…but something that EVERY squad can be put into is invaluable.
I’ve played shortly before the merge and have done every event since (not mini though) and bought most of the battlepasses… i wonder where the discrepancy between our orders are then as i also have all my top end squads equipped yet can still could use more for different tier setups etc and also have spent a fair bit on gold for appearance orders… you can laugh but if they are so abundant i wonder why i’m resorting to buying them instead? Perhaps that’s because they were for rifleman squads though.
Doesn’t make sense to me as in multiple lineups across each of my nations i have 3x assaulter or rifleman equipped… to note rifleman are 120 per squad… if you make argument about top squads then make 3x 9 man rifleman squad lineup for each nation… and equip ALL customization and get back.

Refer to above. I’ve done every major event which had noticeable rewards and bought most BP yet are resorting to buying them with money as i can’t earn any more?
That comment must’ve gone over your head in my clump of responses… i was acknowledging that if you were a japan main i get why you’d think there was nothing to spend your customization on.

If it’s a limited edition clothing or accessory, then it doesn’t matter how many the official releases, because they are limited editions.
