I’m unaware of a gold order version but perhaps I’m mistaken. Earn your gold star and show it to me.
I’d rather see the come back of old squads and weapons rather than getting some equipment that was just a post war prototype or even never getting out of the board.

voted yes, couldnt care less about “muh legacy”, because if veterans with legacy squads can rotate them at will, then everyone should be able to do it, legacy, veteran, old and new players.
but ALSO because upgrading extra squads increase your bench size; having 20 or 30 more soldier slots in the armory is a meaningful upgrade for F2P players.
any player, old or new, can experience how this squad scarcity works, just take a look at japan squad choice. they never had multiple campaigns, therefore they have the 1 squad per tier organization, and it clearly shows how limited that is. just imagine, you old grumps there with everything unlocked, how would it play to have every army like japan.
it is ALSO an excellent sale strategic opportunity: if you give players more squad options, they will need more squad slots to bring them to battle, opening up for maybe some squad slot sales… as little earning as it may bring, its free earnings for minimal effort.
not that we do much developer strategic thinking in enlisted anyway, sales related or otherwise, par for the course i guess.

No game mechanic should be hidden behind a temporal wall. If one player can do something…every player should have access to it. This is why I favor returning legacy squads. Even though the population of people who still play the game and have access to this mechanic is getting smaller and smaller, there are still those out there who have an advantage over the majoritiy of others.
At minimum the sub factions (italian and british) legacy squads should be able to be unlocked in some way, if anything the devs need to look for a way to release similar squads as premium or event so we can get more unique uniforms and minor nations without the necessity of adding prototype/unique weapons that could be added to the battlepass or similar stuff.

Maybe leave out vehicle squads, and maybe even soviet squads, and just do the Brittish and Italian squads
