Due to the fact that Newcomers receive weapons/technique through an Event, BP or through Donations, they get a high BR and suffer, they also prevent teammates from winning.I suggest that Players will not be allowed to equip weapons/technique with a high BR.
For example: If a Player has not opened the 3 BR in research, then cannot equip weapons/technique with 3 BR or higher, so the will not be caught against high BR Players, and high BR Players will don’t losing because of Newcomers and everyone will be happy.
I often run into players in BR V matchups who are using BR II- BR III weapons … Some players use gold squads just to develop techs quickly, or simply use EVEN squads to enter a BR V game. But this is not a problem faced by Enlisted, in fact Warthunder has a corresponding plague …
new players shouldn’t be completely BARRED from high br, if they buy a premium squad and get told “nope, sorry, you cant use it, go grind the game for another 30 hours if you want to actually use your purchase”
however, they should get a popup warning explaining to them why its not a good idea to uptier themselves
Educating new players why its a bad idea instead of just handcuffing them to br1 is a more preferable solution
Well, also with the Allied/Japan soft rule, at times your putting people into level five matches that they aren’t prepared for, aren’t equipped for and most likely did not ask for. So, I agree that newbie’s and people with lower tier weapons should not be playing in level five. Me personally, I learned a long time ago that if you don’t have the weapons needed, or the skill needed to compete at level five, don’t play level five because your gonna have a bad time.
You only need to increase the ranking penalty according to the proportion of weapons of different levels.
Used to punish those who do not meet the requirements of advanced environment
This will reduce the chances of idiots poisoning the high-level environment

The weapon level is 2 levels lower than the room level
Calculated based on the total number of people in the legion and the number of weapons (the vehicle team is based on the vehicle level)

To be fair, I play with only Kar98k or MP40 in BR5 sometimes just for fun and still manage to be top of the score board now and then…
Sure FG42 VS Kar98k is a massive difference in potential, but in the end if you know what you are doing you can carry your team even with trash gear,
which is the real issue here… new players dont know what they are doing.
