I have to buy research that I already unlocked before the update and that I own
It would be wise to update the research tree so that players don’t have to buy things they already have.

This is likely because the weapon in the new tech tree comes with a squad that you did not had previously.

You’re buying the tech tree squad, you might have already unlocked the gun itself, but you only have their legacy squads
