Reporting a player who maliciously killed teammates and affected the gameplay experience

I’m reporting a player who maliciously killed teammates and affected the gameplay experience, his id is “Name Removed”,
Many players have encountered him and clicked on report, but he is still active in the Battle of Normandy.
He burns the rally point using Molotov cocktails, causing the resurrected teammates to be burned to death. He did this all round, and I have official replays to prove what he did.
Given that he has made so many mistakes, I request that he be permanently banned.

If players in Normandy have met him and suffered from his activity, reply with the picture he kill teammates.
He must be banned!!!

GAIJIN should apply penalties such as automatic Kick to TeamKill.

The funny question is - why does only fire kill your teammates?
Bombs, shells, grenades, bullets, mines and vehicles don’t inflict friendly fire, but molotvs and flamethrowers do?

This game would be so much better with just allowing friendly fire in general.
But only with the suggestion above that too many teamkills should give a first warning then a match-ban, temporary game ban, permanent game ban. Easy to implement.

No.

For the reason literally posted above: some players are trully bad at the game and to feel the same excitement as a regular person, need to kill harmless teammates to feela sense of “superiority” or power or whatever.

Also, Devs tried multiple times to implement friendly fire:

  • arty FF used to be a thing. Since many players aren’t super smart, it ended up killing as many, if not more, friendlies than enemies. Thankfully got removed.
  • plane bombs were also doing FF before. Same reason as above. Ppl merely kamikazed or bombed the field at random. Thankfully got removed.
  • last try was devs introducing heavy shell shock effect from friendly bombs of all type, grenades included. You do know how many ppl spam those without caring who’s in the room they throw those in, yes? Game was unplayable during this, everyone was looking drunk. Thankfully got toned down.

In short. As long as there’s no real penalty or mechanism against FF, it should not be a thing.
If you still want this, there’s custom matchs in LF mode.

If you would have quoted the full paragraph, you’d have noticed that I pointed out that allowing ff won’t work without a penalty system, due to the reasons you named correctly.

If there was ff and penalty for misuse, players would quickly learn to slow down their pace and start acting way more tactically.
Post Scriptum is (at least in that point) a great example of how players are being forced to play team orientated and with a demand of using their brains along side with the tools they are given to do so.

It would also need a commander function - someone who takes care to lead the troops tactically. The commander should also be in charge to accept or decline air- and artillery strikes, since he’s the one with the overview of where friendly troops move. He also could give these troops an order to halt until a strike cleared an area and prepares for a rush.
I already suggested the commander function some months ago.

I dont want any “commander” or “director” here.

And why’s that? Because it could keep players off from headless rushing and wasting tickets?
This game does absolutely nothing for establishing team play. Makes me wonder what that squad system is for when everybody plays solo for their own and just using the squads as mobile spawns.

But hey, overall I already lost all hope for this game to turn into something decent…

seen this guy before, but some time ago. I think a temporary ban is enough as this doesn’t exist yet.

Every radio-operator has the same capabilities as your commander.

Besides - how are you going to halt friendly troops from running into the artillery ?

Freeze them for 30 sec. or put an invisible wall in front of them ?

And if someone does not obey the orders he will be executed ?

This is not that type of the game and I hope will never be.

Since when does a radio operator have the ability to accept or decline strikes?
Since when has a radio operator the ability to give orders to to the squads?
Since when do we have a map grid that’d be pretty helpful for any kind of tactical play?

If troops are given a certain order, they may be punished for not following these orders
either within a given time window or manually by the commander himself.
“Halt” may be such an order. Simple, isn’t it?

If people run into friendly artillery or air strikes and die, while being ordered not to do so,
there’s nothing to complain about, right? Except for the team that loses tickets/reinforcements.

Squads that ignore orders multiple times may be punished. Plenty of possible options…

To accept - press 7. To decline - do not press 7.

Radio-operator (every soldier) can put a marker on a map and write “please take that point” on the chat.

But they also punish themselves by waiting for another respawn.

The game does not need a director for a 10 players.

Seriously?
Pressing 7 means to initiate an OWN strike. You are NOT able to decline strikes initiated by other players - and exactly THAT’s the point.

Setting a marker and chatting is not even near to an order connected to a certain squad in order to coordinate an attack or a defense tactically.

“Waiting” for another respawn…as if we are talking about hours to wait. It’s a few secs and you are able to spawn on the rally point of your choice closest to your latest position or destination.
Exactly that’s the point why people tend to waste their lives/tickets like eating popcorn: Because dying and quickly just respawning isn’t much of a repulsing loss.

You just don’t like it. Understood and accepted.
I look at it vice versa and would even concentrate on adding commander mode as a dev.

Perhaps this Team Kill guy has some real problems.
I pray he gets banned from the game soon and gets medical counseling.
