Stalingrad remains the most problematic campaign in terms of customization due to the fact that most of Stalingrad’s maps are autumnal, with golden leaves and not a single snowflake, but it does feature very warm winter clothing that doesn’t suit the weather and white winter camouflages that don’t match the colors of the environment and ruin the immersion and feel of the campaign’s visuals.
I recently wrote a topic about fixing Stalingrad customization, which included removing and replacing overtly winter clothing elements while leaving those suitable for both winter and fall. It also included dynamically changing the color of camouflage clothing depending on the weather to better match the surrounding environment.
However, a developer representative told me that I SHOULDN’T suggest replacing or removing existing options.
Well, since we can’t replace or remove OPTIONS, I’d suggest replacing the default items. A default item isn’t an option the player can purchase with green cards. The player will still have exactly the same customization options. I’m only suggesting replacing the default items a soldier wears “straight out of the box”. This will greatly improve the visuals of Stalingrad in terms of soldier appearance, although it won’t be perfect.
Lets start.

With . . . Heck, German snipers don’t even have the option of NOT wearing winter camouflage in autumn Stalingrad! Just . . . need to replace it with a greatcoat without the white tunic.

So, we’re not taking away players’ options, just changing the default appearance of soldiers. The developers do this all the time. I really want to ask them to do it again. Those who want to dress like polar explorers in autumn or camouflage themselves in white camouflage suits against a backdrop of golden foliage will continue to be able to purchase these items with green cards as before. Lets not take away these options. Everyone has the right to dress inappropriately for the weather.
