We are literally talking about automatic PTRS. This can break through the armor of 40-45mm.
I donât think that the penetration is that much different from other HMGs, but even if it is higher than on other HMGs, it would only be useful on low tier vehicles or vehicles that do not have sloped armour. Once the armour is sloped, the HMGs are useless against these tanks and they generally get obliterated pretty quickly because of how visible and fragile these guns are.
This is higher. About 10mm. This is not so little. This is already enough for the destruction of some medium tanks.
It might have more penetration but once the armor is sloped, even 40-45mm of penetration is not enough. From the side, yes, it will wreck enemy medium tanks, but other HMGs also have enough penetration, even if it is not as high in other HMGs. And generally, you canât really build HMGs on the flanks of the enemy without being noticed, and if thatâs the case, then the team youâre playing with must be pretty bad, lol.
