The “Capture 1 point” task issue was addressed several times before in old Forum. Now with the poll.
Explanation is not really necessary here, this task is too random on Attacking side and simply impossible to complete on Defending side of Invasion game mode. I suggest replacing it with a task that would depend on player’s actions instead of random map roll.
Capturing a point can be easier than killing x number of enemy’s.

This is true but at least you can earn tasks in custom matches if they are squads or lone soldiers. In a real match it can be near impossible if the defenders are good whereas in customs it becomes just about the easiest task especially in conquest. And yeah as you say playing defenders means no capturing any points. Often I’ll play some real matches and then play customs for the tasks and for fun. Personally I find it hard to do any number of these silly tasks in a real match especially at high BR’s.
How about this. Capture 1 point, or get x many kills while defending or attacking" that way everyone is happy.
