By equipping lower rating weapon, the reward is to meet enemies with also lower rating weapon, but the XP gain will not decrease significantly like War Thunder. Also if you want to have higher chance to try certain early war maps, the best way is to equip low rating weapon. As customer preset will be introduced, you will be able to switch between equipment in different perios od the war in seconds, with out change setup of each soldier like now.
Currency based economy would suck hard. It penalizes players for playing.
There are better ways of doing this.
It’s all a question of time. I don’t have as much time to grind, so I want to make sure I’ll get the best value for the currency I have right now.
Will weapons be worth more than updated currency? If so, I’ll stock up on them even if unnecessary.
Will the conversion rate of silver bronze to new currency be advantageous? (AHAH! I doubt that, we’re dealing with greedy snail here!) Then I’ll safekeep until it’s converted.
Also wonder how weapons upgrades will be.
Imagine being so stockholm grabbed by gaijin that you want shitties mechanics ever added to other games too.
It’s spreading like cancer
More Adams.
probably this. even tho they aint introducing nothing. just changing the current currency.
This could be reduced by introducing spawn point for vehicles, so infantries are generally not affected, and as the cost only stay in that one game, it will not become a possible random punishment for playing the game.
It is still acceptable for less skilled new player to have less choice on vehicles, so they must learn infantry battle tactics first. However, it it is definitely a wrong decision to punish a new player for playing the game just because it did not achieve enough contribution before lose a squad, this will make new or less skilled players leave the game, and make averagely skilled but less competitive players play less, which result in game filled with higher percentage of competitive players.
Another thing is this economic cost will make the game more unbalanced, because players who found the enemy is stronger will have to warry more about cost of continue fighting, and finally lead to a more one-sided battle where the majority of players in the weak side desert the battle after lost one squad, like what is happening in War Thunder high tier games.
But it aint a new thing, its"just" a removal.
They’re getting rid of gold orders too?
Oh thank god.
I think gold orders are going to be kept, they said this in the latest progression related devlog.
here, have a drink.
Repair cost for suicide bombing should be the total amount of silver you own in the game. That will stop it real fast
Um, ever heard of fun?
Quite a handful of premium squads they added only unlocks when you are near max level, and they provide nothing since you are already maxed and they are still weaker than standard squads. there’s literally no reason to play them as they dont give you anything
Enlisted will have a single currency — silver. You will be able to buy everything you bought for silver and bronze orders (and even a bit more). The gold remains in the game.
This is the same as Warthunder. Every game if was STG44 it would be real boring and real sweat real fast, not to mention still no incentive to use premium squads if you research is maxed. Warthunder you use premium vehicles to earn more silvers, i hope its the same as in Enlisted
This tells me all I need to know about your thought process
Repair costs in War Thunder are one of the worst parts of the game.
It punishes you for playing something you like, or if you simply have a bad game.
When a game starts taking away my earned XP/Currency that I spent time getting, I’m immediately dropping it
You can buy premium squads at any time. They include them in the campaign screen as an advertisement but there isn’t any level requirement to buy or use them.
