Since the game is introducing Silvers, the same as Warthunder
I assume we going full warthunder here, in my opinion its actually a good thing and now players may play more carefully or perhaps there will be a small penalty depending on how many times we die. This will also reduce the amount of Kamikaze Pilots. As they wouldn’t want to suicide bomb as it punish them heavily
As of right now after you max out all campaign levels, theres technically no reason to play anymore, lacking an incentive. So if the Repair Cost from Warthunder comes true, people won’t be playing STG44 or the best weapons all the time. Instead they will switch out weapons of lower tiers and it will help balance out the economy, not to mention it will also bring variety to the game.
instead of people using the best stuff all the time, this will cap and limit the amount of people who will do that, and have weapons from low tier up to higher tier like in other games. Games with just STG44 will be very boring and tedious real quick, and it will only be sweat matches after sweats.

They already stated they have 0 intentions of bringing repair costs to enlisted
If you don’t want stg everyday , don’t equip it and play with another weapon.

I dont see any other reasons why they would bring out the Silver system, it would make sense using premium in that case if it helps earning Currency. After you reach max levels, theres literally 0 reason to use Premiums Squads
Then don’t use the premium squads.
Stop making excuses to bring a stupid system that only hurts players.

Simplify it…
It will be easier for players, and for them to manage as well.
Also, changing currency is the perfect opportunity to make the game more grindy, by making new currency worth less, or gained less per match.
Still waiting more infos to decide if I completely spend all my bronze/silver on weapons I don’t need, or just keep it in bank depending on conversion rates (that probably won’t favor players)

By equipping lower rating weapon, the reward is to meet enemies with also lower rating weapon, but the XP gain will not decrease significantly like War Thunder. Also if you want to have higher chance to try certain early war maps, the best way is to equip low rating weapon. As customer preset will be introduced, you will be able to switch between equipment in different perios od the war in seconds, with out change setup of each soldier like now.
Currency based economy would suck hard. It penalizes players for playing.
There are better ways of doing this.

It’s all a question of time. I don’t have as much time to grind, so I want to make sure I’ll get the best value for the currency I have right now.
Will weapons be worth more than updated currency? If so, I’ll stock up on them even if unnecessary.
Will the conversion rate of silver bronze to new currency be advantageous? (AHAH! I doubt that, we’re dealing with greedy snail here!) Then I’ll safekeep until it’s converted.
Also wonder how weapons upgrades will be.
