Breda 30 is basically the worst LMG in the game. It’s inaccurate, has small magazine size and huge recoil.
I’m okay with this weapon being in Tunisia as it’s historically accurate but why do we have to suffer with this thing in Normandy and Stalingrad as well. I had to use this crap through 19 levels in Normandy before getting a usable LMG but now you want me to use it in Stalingrad as well…with Allies???
You could have added any other MG instead of this and it will be fine. I suggest for this weapon to be replaced with MG13 or captured french FM 24/29 LMG in Normandy which was used by the Nazis in occupied France

For Stalingrad I really have no idea why the russians are using this awful captured italian MG as their main weapon in Stalingrad. You could have replaced it with anything else like land lease Bren or smth.

I personally like the Breda and feel like it works pretty well for a 1st MG. I have pretty decent luck with it.

Breda in Stalingrad is better than MG13 and MG34 which are awesome in other campaigns.
Why is their recoil still broken? They go way off to the side and down, yet soviet MG’s that are usually weaker don’t suffer from this.

Soviet mgs…
With those I can magically dump the entire magazine accurately on target, in a single salvoe, while standing.
I can understand that axis lmgs make you shoot all over unless prone, because those are big guns and should probably behave that way in life… But I don’t get why dp27 and dt29 are unaffected by this. They’re like assault rifles.

Where are Soviet MGs bad?
The MG34 and MG42 have worse dispersion and worse recoil than Soviet MGs.
I think it’s what he said
I think he said they/ SU mgs suffer in Stalingrad but are better elsewhere. Maybe I didnt get it here.
Anyway I dont the logic behind the Breda in Stalingrad.

I can dump a whole pan in Stalingrad too with Soviets, accurately. Just not standing, I need to suffer 0.2 seconds to crouch before doing so. No need to go prone however
I avoid axis lmgs in Stalingrad thought. Still annoying trying to mount them on windows and stuff.
It makes (kinda) fun but I dont know if they changed the dispersion stats there (it feels worse than in the other campaigns) so I cant judge much.
I’m not sure about dispersion in Stalingrad, but every firearm here have more recoil
He said axis lmgs are bad in stalingrad, and that soviet lmgs are magically unaffected by lmg recoil nerf

^. (Unless it refers to their recoil)
Yeah in moscow and Berlin MG34> any soviet mg, with breda not even in competition.
In Stalingrad all axis mg’s get uncontrollable recoil unless braced.
Yet soviet mg’s can easly spray while standing or crouching.
Even better soviets got breda, and it’s better than all axis MG
(while not braced, but bracing is still hella bugged, so have fun shooting the window instead of enemy)

I have to agree that it is not historically accurate in Normandy or Stalingrad, seeing as Germany adopted a few only after the armistice in 1943. But I would have to disagree with the fact that it’s unusable, since I have found it rather potent when used in CQC, as a makeshift rifle, or when mounted.
