Considering how expensive soldiers can get, it’s demanding too much for people to repeatedly buy multiple soldiers of the same class just to attempt to roll a perfect set of perk points. It’s especially demanding when you realize that a soldier 1 rank above (Assaulter III vs Assaulter II) gets only 3 more perk points than its predecessor, 3 points that are distributed between the 3 perk point categories.
Often there’s no point in even trying to buy higher level soldiers unless you’re trying to min-max since it’s not even guaranteed that you’re going to get a soldier that’s noticeably better given the increase in price.
The RNG with perk points should’ve been abandoned when the RNG for assigning perks was removed. If someone’s spending the silver, give them the max amount of perk points minus the tedious rerolls.
