this is one of the biggest joke on the game. why dev even added this on the game on first place. it so bs that even you start flying straight to destroy them they still drops bombs so what’s the point give player such a ability if the pilot player can even prevent the strike at time and have killed these so many times some case get them down like 10-15sec but still my friend saying yea all bombs landed. so tell me what’s the fcking point kill them if you cant even prevent the strike. remove the ability it sucks.

I’ve heard that they are easy to be taken down but on that note, they are still annoying as fuck. I would much rather not have them at all
They are much easier to kill now, I shot three down in one pass and came around and heavily damaged the fourth and I barely had any damage at all to my aircraft, before shooting one of them down was not terribly difficult if you picked out the one on the outside you could usually get away without getting too damaged but now it’s very very easy it seems
what? i have no issues to destroy all 5 planes on the go. they are super parer now and really easy to drop. the point is why they still drop all bombs even i drop all planes. also they dont fit the meta imo. would be cool if there is x ammount max planes each side so if you shoot them down other team wouldn’t anymore use them. we already have “altillery strike” why we need this…?
The bomber planes have their use. They knock out large amounts of cover and fortifications in one go. That said, the ability to take them out easier was very needed. It might not be “meta”, but that’s because the devs are trying to change the “meta” and how the game progresses from here on out. They want more focus on actual fortification and combat, not just run-and-gun like COD. (I appreciate them for that. Not everyone wants to play COD style, which is why we are playing Enlisted in the first place.)
Bomber strikes aren’t really designed to get a lot of kills. They are designed to remove all the extra cover, sandbags, trees, field guns, MG nests, etc scattered about the open field that isn’t in solid cover. Thats why it uses the smaller bombs rather than the larger ones.
As far as taking them down, teams that use engineer structures to their advantage were getting absolutely annihilated by them with no counter originally. Now that they can be taken down, more people are using fighters and hopping on AA guns. ------> When this happens, that means there are less people watching the front lines or dropping ordinance from the sky. Make use of this time for your push. This time is PRIME for an all out attack.
Overall, its meant to increase team-based combat, and less about each solo player.
They are easy to take down. Easy to counter and effective if enemy team is retarded.

Fighters without bombs and aa guns have even more reasons and a place on lineup.
They drop bombs even if there shot down before the drop point?
I believe the issue is either:
- They were damaged and start to fall out of formation, but still drop bombs when over target.
OR - People are landing white hit markers and not taking them down or killing pilots, but think they took them down when they actually did not.
He is calling the inability to counter them a skill issue. Since they nerfed the bomber’s damage model, AA and fighters have been very effective in countering them.
Another issue is that there is 2 crew inside the bomber, the pilot and a gunner. Kinning the gunner gives you a red crosshair and a skull, but doesn’t kill the bomber. However, some people may think that they killed the whole bomber after seeing the first ded crosshair and skull. If you killed the bomber, it will say so in the killfeed
