Remove the 20% experience loss when deserting while there is 0 spawn points left on the team to spawn in

Yeah I don’t understand why we can’t just leave the match when there’s no more spawn points. It’s literally not harming anyone for us to leave that minute or so early. Except for those very rare times where the team caps with 0 respawns left, but again those are rare.

If your team has 0 tickets left you can leave without penalty. Otherwise I’m not sure how much of your post is earnest vs sarcastic.

I guess it makes sense if the game crashed or you made a contribution to the team. but at the end of the day -20% isn’t much IMO so meh often I’ll just stick with a game even if it sucks I don’t care too much about rank if I lose I lose but I’ll do my best.

I just don’t desert games unless something in real life needs my attention. It’s possible i get a phone call and try to keep playing while talking but it gets too distracting or something. But deserting because the game is going poorly just seems cheap. And also, the deserter and their ilk are the reason games go poorly, so self-fulfilling prophecy that I’m not going to add to.

Build a rally. Shoot a guy. Die With Your Boots On.

Unless they change it so it would count as a loss, they should leave it giving a penalty.

Deserting because god forbid “I might lose” and only have a 99.5% win rate is silly because you’re only cheating yourself the win rate doesn’t reflect reality. Yeah totally agree with real life reasons though no need to miss something important or crap yourself over a game at the end of the day. Some of my favorite matches have been losses where its been a case of “yep they are clearly better than me but Ill give them a run for their money” or just a close match. I think desertion penalties could be a bit more lenient but as I said -20% isn’t too much to be worried about anyway IMO. - side note some crumbs for people who stick around and help the team would be nice.

I’m a bigger fan of carrot for people who stay, over stick for the cowards, but I’d also take both at once. +20% if more than 3 bots on the team, and -20% for leavers.

I understand “I’m not gonna play a match that isn’t fun,” but it’s selfish, and makes everyone else’s match less fun as a result. I think frequent deserters should reevaluate their psyches.

The majority of matchmaking and desertion problems are: map selection is 100% fake, and BR is 50% fake.

It is still possible that your team capture the point in time.
Moreover the count down is just 1 minute, you can’t wait for 1 minute?

Even with 0 tickets the affected team might be able to capture the points gaining more tickets
