Remove or rework Assault

This mode is so heavily balanced in the defending teams favor. Either lock out a point when the offensive team captures it like destruction, remove it, or lock it to only be played when its lone soldier in custom games. The defending team has to be completely bots to lose this broken mode.

I am also in favor of blocking the reflection of points in this mode, or let them remove it. Although I used to think that it would be similar to the invasion, but with the difference that by choosing A, B or C you choose the attack path to the last target, so that the path could look different each time.

Agreed. With evenly balanced teams I think defenders win this basically EVERY time. It’s not fun.

many many times I loose defending points because many many loosers play this game.
I already said it in another post. nobody put in defenses, rally points, or even stay inside the point or go defend it if they are capturing them, or run over and over again point flank in front of the enemy, and because they don’t make rallies, or AA guns to kill airplanes, and don’t mark the enemy, I tend to loose more times.
I can’t be the only one making rallies. I’m sick and tired.
One guy told me “they don’t give you any points” just before we loose the battle so I couldn’t scream at him how 1d10t he was.

It’s the worst gamemode, i’d rather play armored train…

Conquest is way worst i disagree. assault gives a lot of xp and i still had matches where we lost as defenders

Conquest is more fun as for me, assault for attacking side brings nothing but pain in the ass, even a lot of xp doesn’t worth it…

feel free to do a poll im sure majority would want conquest removed instead, as shown on reddit before. it gives almost 0 xp, grind is all that matters for me and my friends

I’d said “we need to rework conquest (make it longer and/or bringing more xp) and delete the assault”

One way i think to rebalance assault is make the objective locked when “captured” for one minute for example

Problem with Assault is lack of tactical temaplay or even basic teamplay.

I rather delete conquest from my queue. And keep assault.

Not everything needs to be balanced, or 1 to 1
Sometimes winning said matches as atacker is very rewarding, and sometimes loosing as defender is eye opening.

I like it.

Alpha invasion in Moscow with multiple double points was the best game mode this game saw to this day.

Sadly was removed.

The best solution in my opinion is when a point is captured by offense, it gives 1/4 permanent capture on that point.

  • 1 time captured = 1/4 permanent capture
  • 2 times captured = 1/2 permanent capture
  • 3 times captured = 3/4 permanent capture
  • 4 times captured = complete permanent capture
  • Essentially each time it is captured, it becomes less time consuming to capture additional times, until finally, its completely captured.

The Defense would have to “full” recapture a point for it to be reset for the next tick of permanent capture.

This solution give a way for offense to push through even if they don’t have full team cooperation. Meanwhile, it forces defense to more-so choose which one they wish to defend rather than just sprinting back and forth.
