It was not changed: snow white winter uniforms of the Moscow winter maps will also appear snow white in the Orange autumn map of Moscow… same thing for the Stalingrad preset. pretty unrealistic and annoying to stand out like a clown…
SIMPLE SOLUTION:
Just switch Stalingrad factory (Winter) and moscow (Autumn) maps in the presets.
Then the “Winter” preset will have moscow winter and stalingrad factory, so we can use white camo
The “Autumn” preset will have moscow autumn and stalingrad city autumn, so we can use dot/brown camo
Elsewise there will be white stars running around in orange forests and orange clowns running around in show thunder.
since italians were in the stalingrad campaign ( perhaps… not entirely inside the city of stalingrad it self. but HA argument is out of the window anyway with this merge )
I like the uniform system, i think its headed in a good “general” direction but it requires a few more tweaks such as you say.
Italian uniforms being in added to the moscow and stalingrad pool (for italian squads)is way up there (the blue ones, desert coloured can stay in tunisia.
Very disappointing with this test server. I have to say this will definitely make me stop playing the game.Having 67 squads , presets that you select and you end up playing with tanks and squads that were active in Moscow in the Normandy campaign or Tunisia, looks really bad and the fact that you have to customize each soldier its just too expensive. Everyone plays with assault riffles on all maps its just ruined the game. Squads should have been locked to their original destination where they were active for example Moscow or Normandy or stop making Assault 1-2-3-4 or Engineer 1-2-3-4.The tree looks so bad though you don;t know exactly which one is which one.One says buy it the other one says reward available but still pay for it.Nonsense overall, this needs to be adjusted otherwise the game will slowly die.
Red Orchestra 2’s system have summer and winter maps with uniforms automatically set to the season.
A more advanced system with customization would be like we can set our summer and winter uniforms ourselves and it will automatically be used depending on which map whether summer or winter.
yeah thats misleading, TAKE REWARD then you have to pay, that’s absurd and not fun.
I suggest to modify the button color to something like warning orange or yellow to state more clearly that a different action is about to be performed
Having 67 squads
yeah I know, I had 92 to check that almost made me cry, and the squad selection interface is crap because you cant see any detail about squad, soldier, equipment, you have to drag them into the deck, then go back to menu, not user friedly at all.
I suggest to improve that squad selection interface by moving the right hand box(available squads) aligned to the right of the screen, at least you can peek…as of now i have to recognize the soldiers by the tip of their gun

It's been stated by the devs that as of now the tiered BR is not active on the current test server, so do not despair this is meant to be working as intended
Give it another go before quitting, give them some days…
that’s also standard in WT, checkbox auto select camo, so on winter maps, if you own the white camo, will be on automagically, same applies to jungle, urban setting etc…
I don’t really object to snow camouflage not being used in Normandy or Tunisia, but the majority of the premium squads don’t have uniforms which would be grossly out of place in other campaigns. Under ideal circumstances, premium squads would have already have a custom pre-set for other campaigns where necessary.
