Yes, cuirasses give an advantage. However, I wouldn’t say it’s a big one; cuirasses are unlikely to decide the outcome of a battle. And the Council’s body armor often doesn’t save them from me in a personal firefight. But isn’t the problem that only one faction has access to this advantage? So why not make it so that players from all factions have access to this advantage, wouldn’t that at least partially solve the problem?
Oh, I think the answer to that is right there in this post.
But is the easy way always the best? Of course, I understand that the developers of our game probably have a heart attack at the mere mention of the word “work,” but still, they get paid for something. Let them work on the game as they should.
That doesn’t mean we need medieval armor in every WW2 battle, at all.

They literally could make it only affect small caliber bullets.
You can literally play 3 other nations that doesn’t see these body armor.
I dont know what matches y’all are playing where the whole enemy team has body armor because I hardly see them.
if you see someone with body armor switch up your play style if y’all are struggling to win since 1 or 2 squads with body armor means they won automatically
I’m not one of the people that is arguing 10% damage reduction is ruining the game, my argument is that people will naturally take any small advantage they can get leading to lots of people using armour when historically only about 1% (maybe even less) of the soviet army might of had access to armour and for the other nations it would be about 0.01% of them may have ever used this experimental armour. Enlisted’s standard uniforms available to all soilders shouldn’t let them equip exceedingly rare uniforms (thats the point of event and premium squads).

But I just paid 600 appearance orders on changing all my Soviet skins to body armour… it’s alright, it doesn’t even look that good.

Strange. I see em all the time. Four of my squads are full on armored.
But thats fine. Keep the armor and give the gemans Panzerschokolade:
Takes consumable slot, 3 uses, 15% actions speed, 15% run speed, 15% jump high.
Sounds good to you ? And unlike the armor that was mostly used by engineers and was phased out in the late years of the war - the Panzerschokolade was widely used in vast quantities till the end.
