With the introduction of the new U.S.A and Japan’s assault engineers, they were added without body armor or helmet armor. And it got me thinking, perhaps we don’t need to remove the soviets body armor, BUT make it available only to their assault engineers. What do you folks think?
I asked a question relevant to the suggestion… what am i supposed to do with the extra body armor that i bought for my squads when you only need like 28 for all the campaigns.
The same thing you do with any other cosmetic Item you don’t use anymore, leave it to rot in the inventory. Or it could become a backpack item and be purchased and sold for silver
However this suggestion would technically make that true.
It’s what i meant for grasping at straws trying to push this topic like this is even worse because just remove the effect then atleast i can still have the cosmetic.
This would just make all the ones after X required for all campaigns useless… its not the same as buying stuff you don’t need… its buying stuff you want and then someone says you cant have that on that squad anymore and only on one so now you’re left with a bunch of useless cosmetics.
IMO body armor isnt a problem as long as limited, it would be okay if you would just get like 10 of them to distribute among soldiers you like and thats all.
But people who equip it for every soldier available are disgusting, and fuel my interest in getting it removed
That’s nit-picky. The devs can absolutely just remove the damage reduction from the non-assault engineer ones
Given the common understanding of ‘remove body armor = just remove the damage reduction’ you really should’ve communicated clearly that you don’t want the cosmetic removed but the reduction is fine, especially given your previous input your presence here is ingenuine and stirr unnecessary drama
