First of all, please watch the video I recorded. There are more videos behind it and how it ended is not recorded now.
I was replenished 3 times with P38 and fired a total of 1500 rounds.
However, I did not smoke and did not interfere with the operation of the aircraft.
Now I know what the problem with this is.
-
It is impossible to hold the P38 from behind. certain. Why? The game does not shoot down enemy aircraft unless you destroy the engine. It’s a nonsense system, but the P38 has a rear tail behind the engine, making it a very deceptive aircraft now.
-
For example, I would have fired hundreds of rounds at the enemy’s right wing or tail and his HUD would be blackout.
But if it’s a current aircraft state system, a blackout should mean that parts are torn and blown away, but the enemy aircraft’s shape remains the same. I think it is right to change it.

The 20mm cannons the Axis have on hand means nothing. I can only think of it as being weaker or similar to the Browning 12.7mm.
It’s called Interceptor, but it can’t intercept opponents.
Hi,
planes are real bullet sponges currently. In general I am okay with it, because it would be a frustrating experience in my opinion if you drop out of the sky fast, but as said only my opinion.
i was frustrated when enemy planes took big punishment until focus for certain part like engine or wing.
Two things…
1.) US planes typically had an armor plate right behind the pilot.
2.) Enlisted uses an instructor like War Thunder. You basically tell the instructor where you want to fly and he flies the plane. This impacts control damage dramatically as he works his tail off to fly that plane. You’ll see this if you use keyboard controls in addition to the instructor. The plane will freak out if you try keyboard controls with heavy damage.
So… What’s the point of this?
Get good at deflection shooting and don’t ride someones six if you can avoid it. Get them in a turn where you can pilot snip them, take out their engine, or try and focus on one wing. There’s only so much the instructor can do.
I honestly will try to keep someone dead on my six if I can’t shake them, move slightly up and down, left and right to throw off the aim recticle, and try to burn them out of ammo.
