well, it doesnât mean anything since most of the weapons of events arenât available in the tech tree most of the time.
some are either in the editor, or hidden / not included until the actual update ( like the ezrat m10 )
What do you mean? We were promised they will follow concept of Ger/Sov squads. Meaning, you can equip them with ARs, but you dont have to.
Second meaning, you need tech tree AR for that.

I bet japanese AR Is Just another full auto type hei, and american one Is the base T20 garand, technically those are similiar to the fedorov so Is probable they are used as First assualt rifle for USA and JAP
well, could be anything really.
might as well be british for all we know

I doubt.
T20 is equivalent to FG/AVT and so. Meaning, itâs rifle2 with full auto mode. And such weapons are normally usable by engineers.
It would make no sense to make T20 AR version.
But they should definitely add T20 tech tree nevertheless.

All allies possible assault rifle i know and people posted use full cartridge, T20 or another would make no difference
Regarding this M2 carabine already do the job of an assault rifle, so balance wise i should Say imo USA dont Need it

To be fair, were specifically offered Assaulter Engineers, not the Assault rifles, leaving the door open for them to be equipped with other assault weapons like 1928a1 Thompson, BAR, and Johnson. They also said that the German and Soviet squad would be more valuable, so this could be what they meant.
Would be extremely unfair, inconsistent and overall just terrible decision.
Wen those 4 squad get announced they was promoted with enginer able to use assault rifle

They still could if an actual Assault rifle was added later in the game.
They not, if they add the squad withaut the weapon they should use, the squad itself would be pointless, this Is why assault enginer for Japan and Usa are not in the event because there Is still no AR for them
