Jokes aside, that would involve nerfing soviets… so it would never happen.
What do you mean? It’s not hard to use equipment of the BR you’re playing in… more like the players (like you) who use lower tiered equipment either out of “necessity” or personal enjoyment (which the latter is fair mind you) who make it a mess
It have 65.77 grams of TNT It have less filler than the german 30mm but It probably have more sharpnell than the 30mm
Here the confirmations from helpers
@Euthymia07-live Why does the BR3 version of this plane get a better belt than the BRIV version?
Pure AP-T which even against planes is useless… no tanks you can combat against… meanwhile the BR3 version gets HE which will be insane against planes and might even be useful against infantry.
Please enforce the Soviet bias.
I will consider making a topic suggesting that… yet people will be argumentative even though there are no tanks in BRIV+ you can pen with the 37… but I’m just curious if there’s a reason.
Ill say that you can Pen the roof of the panther Tiger1 and all the japanese BR4 tanks but is hard It only had like 38mm Pen idk why they gave to this one a full HEF-I belt they could give to the YAK-9T and the soviet thing at least mixed belts but idk
You could ask for the downtier of the P63 ir which was the plane because both are basically the same It can only carry a Fab 250 basically a 500lb It just get what more ammo or something
Cool. Thanks for the opportunity to get some free suff. But I have a problem…can you change the BR to one that I like better. Then maybe explain why you aren’t offering free stuff from the faction that I want stuff for. After that can you change the xp needed to earn the free stuff. Off topic, but I’ll mention it here anyway…Why don’t we have ships and submarines? This isn’t an accurate simulator without the true power of the navy. Why not make this game more better?!
Yes, I’m joking. It’s just funny how many people get on and complain about free shit on the forum.
Yeah is fun later they complain abouth the soviets getting something wen they didn’t got a soviet themed event on a long time the last one was the ISU one like 3 months ago
Thinking about it, the KE‑7 is basically just another variant of the Browning.
At Japan’s BR4, you already have fast‑firing machine‑guns like the Te‑4, which out‑perform it in every respect.
At BR4, the KE‑7 cannot hold a candle to the MG42, DT‑29 and other counterparts. It would fit much better at BR3. It simply cannot compete against typical BR4 equipment, let alone BR5 machine‑guns. It is an event‑locked weapon, which puts it in a similar spot as the TKB‑54. What a waste.
Both of these guns really ought to be placed at BR3.
Honestly, what would be great is a Cofrontation-style event like Midway or a Gibraltar-style map. It would be practically the same as Confrontation mode, but set on an island with massive battleships in the background. Actually, the Normandy maps already sort of have this; you can see destroyers firing off at who-knows-where in certain parts of the map. XD
The truth is, regarding Japan, there aren’t really many good LMG options across any BR in the TT. You’d expect the KE7s to rival the BARs, but they are easily among the worst due to that terrible vertical recoil; that’s why I think I’ll go with the PG semi auto rifle in the event instead of the KE7 (50).
I’ve see some suggestions for Japan LMGs like the Type 98/1 which I believe were German MG15s purchased by Japan and a Browning .303 modified by japanese soldiers with a stock and pistol grip, that would be a solid choice for BR5 TT, just i hope devs have seen it too
Speaking of light machine‑guns, it suddenly struck me that at Soviet BR2 the only option available is the Madsen, an early‑WWI light machine‑gun with abysmal spread and vertical recoil. Even after one round of buffs, its performance remains poor, falling well‑behind equivalent weapons from other nations.
The KE‑7 is not all‑that terrible to handle; its recoil is still manageable. I recall there have been suggestions to add the Type 94 light machine‑gun, the Japanese‑reworked variant of the British Lewis gun, for the Far‑East theatre, yet nothing has come of it so far.
As for Japanese machine‑guns at BR4‑BR5: after the dispersion buff, the Type 100 anti‑aircraft gun went from wildly inaccurate, spraying everywhere, into a hard‑hitting high‑rate‑of‑fire weapon. Compare that to the Soviet side, which still lacks any machine‑gun firing above 590 RPM. Their only comparable piece is effectively a large assault rifle firing intermediate‑cartridge rounds, incapable of proper suppressive fire.
From this perspective, it is actually the Soviets who are more in need of decent light machine‑guns.
Japan has already received plenty of pieces omitted from most other WWII‑themed games, and I can hardly think of what else they are missing. Maybe mortars?
I’d say that, in general, the BR2 machine guns are pretty poor alternatives to “automatic rifles” unless you’re kneeling or prone.
the KE7 is decent but only at very close range, the Type 96 is good but not up to BR3 standards, and yes, I’d say the Soviets don’t really stand out for their LMGs, though they do excel with SMGs and rifles. Japan hardly has a good weapon in the low BRs since their SMGs have high fire rates but low damage; their BR2 semi-autos are decent, but their only BR3 rifle is by far the worst BR3. The TE4 is currently the most decent LMG they have for high BRs, but that Type 94 sounds good.
Certainly the AS44 functions more like an automatic rifle in that regard, but it’s better than the STG which is why German players prefer the MG42, though personally, I prefer the MG15.
I think of it as more as a high capacity BAR. The reason its useful is that semi auto setting. Nothing compares to the 100. I use them for my APC machine gunners. I do not like the sound but the weapon itself is practical. The BR5 is awesome spray and play but the KE allows better aim. BR2 machien guns kind of seem like crap. They have obstructed view firing sights.
