On this special day, D-Day, I believe we can bring back some out-of-print squads related to Normandy and offer certain discounts to ensure sales
I think we can bring back the German Beretta M1918 Assault Squad and Wz.1928 Machine Gun Squad, which haven’t been brought back for a long time, as well as the American M8 Greyhound Tank Squad, LVT-4 Tank Squad, and M2 Hyde Assault Squad

The tech tree should always be a new player’s no.1 priority before they even consider past event squads and what they have missed

This is debatable. A new player, which is the case with all new players, will look around to what is consistently making them loose matches. Often, this is a certain squad or piece of equipment an older player might have, which a new player might not have. Despite completing the tech tree, which as you acknowledge is their first priority, they still do not have access to fundamental pieces of equipment

Secondly, i don’t think you mentioned the silver loot boxes in your video. Those are there to give players a chance of getting those old rewards. Keeping in mind that the less squads you have, the larger pool of squads you have to win from

On the loot boxes, I did not address this because they are not always available to new and old players alike. Therefore, the opportunity to use them as a way to gain equipment is not a consistent method. Additionally, the odds for players to gain anything are extremely low, and as you acknowledge, harder so if you are a new player because you own nothing, thereby further disadvantaging you. New players might also be focused on upgrades to squads, weapons and vehicles over using their silver for crates. So crates cater to older players, not new ones.

But by all means play a single faction but you’re only going to be disappointed every time the other factions receive content.

I never suggested otherwise. Players should shop around to see / do what they want and what faction most aligns with their playstyle

This is where we unfortunately disagree. Arguments made to keep content exclusive on the forum and elsewhere show Gaijin / DF that the consensus is against giving new players access. The forum is monitoured and opinions are observed. So, by making an argument against access, you are indirectly contributing towards an opinion that old content, should and will indeed continue to be gate kept.

Overall I agree with some points but not with an event store.

As always, with all of my ideas, I provided a fundamental framework, something which I always recognise to build upon. Maybe limit the amount of times a weapon can be redeemed, maybe put it on a cool down?

Spent too long in the army abusing my body so had to have my pelvis broken on purpose to realign my hip back into the socket. 4 screws and a bone graft. Week 7 of recovery so starting to walk again

Here we go again. Laziness or research done by the developers. The M6 tank didn’t make it out of the testing phase. Only a few were built by the time in was cancelled. Again they need to do their research on variants that actually were used in the war.

You are acting like this is not the norm, most of the event rewards are stuff that were never used in the war. Do you really like them to lock those actual used stuff behind event?

I understand that they have increased XP points for attacking, defending, and using rallies, but they haven’t given an increase to assists for fortifications built in defense of objectives.
